We have no choice in the matter so I embrace it as part of the calendar.

It's just dire. It's not even a weekend it's international friday followed by tumbleweed for the weekend and finally the curtain closes on it on tuesday night. If they played a couple of games on the saturday it might liven it up a little.

They should invite every country to the Euro's and make them the qualifiers for the WC, no more international weeks, no more players returning injured and no more wanking over scousers and rags who aren't good enough, get selected and then pull out with mysterious injury that clears up just in time for the following league game.

Why does it seem to take 743 games to qualify for one fucking tournament?
They get all off season to play these games and the real footy goes on hold in under a month? Twats!

Well considering we had pointless international friendlies in closed season they could have used that time for some if the qualifiers, total waste of time and proof of UEFA/Fifa/FA's incompetence to plan things correctly with fans in mind, plus more people would be up for it. Now with the breaks coming just as the season starts it turns people off it and is bleeding frustrating!

I don't mind it. It gives me a chance to catch up on sleep.
