I spent ages doing this - what's the odds it'll be the same squads as notified to the PL today? Nil?

Nice work mate!
Our squad looks strong, but not rock solid. I hate to say it, but I think Scum's defence is stronger than ours.

1. Manchester United (C)
2. Manchester City
3. Chelsea
4. Arsenal
5. Tottenham Hotspur
6. Everton
......and they're gone.
Also, if it a true coma prison, why aren't Arsenal listed first?

English players in each squad:
City - 6
Chelsea - 6
Arsenal - 5
Spurs - 8
Liverpool - 8
Rags - 10
(Think I've got that right)
No surprises Arsenal are last on that front, despite Wenger's attempts recently to make out he's all about young English players.
Admittedly, there aren't a significant number of good English players coming through at many clubs at the moment, but I hope we can change that with the improvements we are making to our academy set-up. It's always good to have home-grown players in the squad (meaning really home-grown, not the UEFA definition!).

It won't be the same as I dunno who Zahar and Chapli are.
But in all seriousness, thanks for the side by side. On paper, going by names, Man United look to have the "worst" squad overall.

Manchester City's 25-man Premier League squad
Fellow newcomers Jesus Navas, Alvaro Negredo, Stevan Jovetic and Fernandinho are also included.
All Barclays Premier League managers had to submit names to the authorities yesterday following the closure of the summer transfer window.
Rules state that clubs can have no more than 17 players who are not deemed to be 'home grown', but may have as many U-21 stars as they like.
The Premier League says: "A Home Grown player will be defined as one who, irrespective of his nationality or age, has been registered with any club affiliated to the Football Association or the Football Association of Wales for a period, continuous or not, of three entire seasons or 36 months prior to his 21st birthday (or the end of the season during which he turns 21)."
Changes can be made, however, when the window reopens again on January 1 2014.
