What's the point of buying another attacking midfielder, when we need a winger for the left side? Where will Ozil play in a 4-2-2-2 with Navas on the right and Silva on the left?

I agree with what you say bud but my feelings are our problems start with silva, he's never consistent, for sum reason the team can't play without him, ( which I'd agree ain't his fault) and for the position he plays he only racks up 4/7 goals a season were other players hit 12/19 goals a year in that same position

I'll trust the management team with this one. He was widely considered as one of the best centre backs in La Liga last season and made it into the La Liga team of the season by several well trusted journalists like Balague. My only concern is he's slower than a sloth

Not very impressed with that signing but I guess for the money he will have cost and the wages he will be on it won't matter much.

Atletico are set to sign 24-year-old Ajax defender Toby Alderweireld. I think I might have been more inspired by the signing of a 24 year old than a 32yo.

How many clubs have 3 top class CBs? With sakho leaving psg, the likely answer is none. We were never going to attract another top class CB to ride the bench behind vinny/nastasic or start in an occasional league cup match. (U can argue whether Nastasic deserves that spot, but that's a different issue)

Im disappointed we didnt go to Alderweireld as the first option - or even him and Demichelis as option 1 and 2 if we wanted youth and experience. Seems a strange move, but managers do like to have players they have worked with before in the dressing room, so I will trust in the counts judgement for now

He is now 'worth 4m' (to us), because now he is UNDER CONTRACT, which he wasn't when he moved ON A FREE in JULY!!! Shocking, I know. Why didn't we sign him before Atletico did, you say? Not sure, but I reckon it had something to do with our first choice CB pairing (& Richards) not being injured. Maybe Pellegrini realised that Garcia can't be trusted in the PL as a CB (or at all) after Cardiff.

Why we didn't go for Alderweireld? Maybe our manager doesn't rate him? Maybe the player didn't want to sit on the bench?

Also, isn't Sakho a bit shit?
