Anyone know the reason for their staggeringly low attendances in the CL? 200 against Kharkiv, and an estimated 350 last night against Schalke. Is there a boycott by their fans, a ban imposed by UEFA, or is it just the woeful Greek economy or some other reason?

at least one club had to play in front of empty crowds because of ban by UEFA on violence last season but not sure if it was PAOK. Probably

Nope, already had a scan of the internet, and can't find anything about it. Also, from the highlights there seemed to be a hardcore PAOK 'ultras' contingent behind one of the goals...

Greece's financial situation may have something do with it ...

Nop, their fans were banned.

And to make things worst, the fuckers from UEFA allowed only the opposite fans to go to the game. Imagine that. With the fans in the stadium, Paok would had gone through.

The same thing happend at Legia - Steaua, they banned the supporters and they closed the North Terrace, so the fans had to relocate.

Thanks. Couldn't find any info on it anywhere. Could've sworn there were around 80 PAOK fans in a huddle behind one of the goals, though...

Loved the Legia response to that:

I am almost sure they will get ban for that.
