Fee rising to 7 million (not sure if Euros or Pounds) reportedly, if certain criteria are met, with a 20% sell-on fee. Not bad at all, in my opinion (although admittedly there's no sell-on fee if he goes from Barca B to Barca).

The best outcome for everyone. He is a long way behind Nasri, Silva, Jovetic, & would soon be overtaken by Lopez & Pozo.
If we had a B team playing in the Championship, then he could have stayed, but he didn't do enough pre season to merit a place in the 1st team setup, in front of other young players, & he needs to be playing football.
A young lad happily flying off to Barca, with a big smile, saying 'thanks for everything' is a great advert for our youth setup; showing that we try to look after our kids & do the best for them, even if we can't use them.

Not long till we have a 'B' team in New York. We might push harder to keep these lads when we do.
