Top top keeper. Shouldn't be playing second fiddle to Hart

I'd prefer a Cesars Salad at the moment.

Hart's deteriorating rapidly. God knows what happened to the guy that played against Dortmund last season.

I want back the Joe Hart that played against Spurs in the opening game of the 10/11 season. That WAS a keeper.

Hart has been underpar for a long time now and not just over a few games, anyone that says otherwuse are fucking blind as a bat.
We should seriously think about getting someone else in and the Brasilian ticks all the boxes.

Unless home grown and age are on the list.

Hart will come back to form soon imo.
Right now, he doesn't actually seem to save much though, I must admit. If sides have 4 decent shots, they seem to get 2 or 3 goals. It can't always be that everything directed at our goal, is unstoppable.
But I have faith that he will sort it. He will have to.

Hart needs to start this season well, otherwise Pantilimon will deserve a run of games.
As others have pointed out, Hart has been underperforming for a while, but he had a well-organised back 4, plus Barry, in front of him, and so we were still reasonably solid defensively.
Now with Barry seemingly pushed out, and our defence looking abysmal in pre-season, we need Hart more than ever to step up.
He's got the ability, but perhaps complacency and a perceived lack of competition affected his game. Pantilimon has earned his opportunity, and so if Hart's worrying form continues, he'll deserve a chance.

Don't see us keeping too many clean sheets this season :(

Joe Hart is shit. One good season and he's "world class". A new goalkeeper should have been a summer priority.
Hart is the goalkeeping equivalent of Stephen Ireland.

He's not shit, and he's not had just one good season.
Last season his standards dropped, but the 2 seasons before that, his form was extremely consistent and he single-handedly won us many points, and then before that was excellent at Birmingham, leading him to being in the PFA Team of the Year, which is a great feat considering who he was playing for.
His form definitely needs to improve, but I think it's an overreaction to write him off completely.

He needs to stop all the commercial stuff and concentrate on football. He is not a patch on the keeper he was 18 months ago and it's a worry. That shot was bread and butter last night and he made a right hash of it. The best we saw of Joe was when Shay was sat on the bench and he was kept on his toes, he defo needs someone sat on that bench who he knows will replace him if his form drops or stays as it is. I'm not sure Panti is that keeper but what keeper of any standing is going to sit on the bench. Maybe we missed a trick with mark schwarzer?

That's a very good point.

Some City fans are very quick to criticise City players for any mistake they make.
I wonder if Chelsea fans are slating Cahill for turning like a supertanker as it was his error that caused the 2nd goal...I doubt it!!!
Jo Hart is a great keeper but like everybody he makes a mistake but I can tell you he will save more that he will let in the problem is as a high profile keeper they are highlighted more than others whereas his good performances are "expected" therefore not highlighted so it would seem that his performances have deteriorated which I dont think is the case
Lets be grateful that we have a top young keeper who will be prone to the odd mistake

Joe is a top keeper easily one of the top five in the world but he does need to cut the self promotion bollocks and get back to business he has gone a bit Hollywood for me.

Joe's good but saying that he's one of the top 5 keepers in the world is bigging him up ridiculously - even through the blue tints!
He was perhaps the best prem keeper in the season before last but he's been dropping clangers that have cost us games but still winning the gloves with the benefit of the best defence in the prem.
Fact is when looked at dispassionately Costel is better than Joe is in most aspects and I hope the he gets a run out on Monday because Joe was at his best when he understood that he had to be good or get benched.
I love him for the times he was good and for him being with us for so long but I think a bit of tough love is in order to sort him out because if he plays this season like he did last then we might as well give up hope of another title this year.
