Any changes you'd like to see this season?

For me, if a free kick's been given, and the offending team loiters within 10 yards, yellow card.

Fuck off and get back your 10.

I'd like to see a sin bin brought in for back chat. It can be called the naughty step. I'm a what now? 5 minutes on the naughty step until you learn some manners.

If a player is brought down outside the box, clean through on goal, the opposition has to line up ten yards behind the ball rather than ten yards in front & the same player can go 1v1 against the keeper on the ref's whistle.

Anyone encroaching gets yellow, then red card.

Professional foul becomes pointless.

Sin bin!! I'm a rugby player and think that the respect that the referee commands is excellent. A team mate of mine said to the ref that he was the "shittest ref he's ever had" and subsequently got red carded and handed an 11 match ban!!

And the ref should be more alive to taking it quickly.

Also, I'd like to see more use of advantage (play on) being given to the team who's been fouled.

If a player fouls another player, resulting in him needing treatment on sidelines, then the offending player must also leave the field and only return to action with the treated player (or substitute for injured player) or after 5 mins from leaving the pitch, whichever comes first.

If a player fouls a player, meaning the player cannot continue and all that teams substitutes have been used, then the offending player must leave the field for the remainder of the game also, meaning no advantage is gained from injuring the opposition.

How do you like them onions??

Although a good idea in theory it could make tackling a thing of the past

Bad tackling yes, if a player is injured in a challenge the referee deems fair, then tough shit ;-)

Instant yellow card for anyone who grabs the ball after being fouled, even if it was a foul they should wait for the whistle and the ref to say its a freekick before grabbing at the ball stopping play and effectively pressuring a ref into giving the freekick regardless of the tackle

deliberate handball on the line = a goal
a penalty means that the defending side has a chance to get off the hook.... suarez/uruguay vs ghana....

just the blatantly deliberate or the things that the referee deem to be deliberate but could actually be accidental?

a handball that would currently cause the ref to award a penalty

A handball from a direct shot on goal would be better

I'd like to see the match played over two thirty minute halves with a stadium clock stopped when the ball isn't in play. We'd get more action for our money and it would negate the point of time wasting and play acting when down. I think that aspect of the game frustrates fans more than any other.

The average game has 56 minutes out of the 90 with the ball in active play, I found that a disturbing fact.

I really agree with this....I could never understand why a player who has had a pasting is penalised and sent off the pitch until the ref says he can come back on.

Stupid stupid rule

I'd also like to see players carded for being big girls blouses.....ala Nasri vs Rags. Stop them being so bloody soft

And refs to have more bollox and award fouls in the penalty area that they would definitely award outside of the box

Three match ban retrospective ban for diving first offence
Five match ban for second offence

GK's being over protected. Referees often take the easy way out and give a foul on the keeper, many times when there has been no infringement, if anything its the GK's that do the most fouling. Especially on a corner when they clearly push the opposition player off balance before the ball arrives in the box.

The whole pushing and shoving at corners needs addressing for everyone in the box... Its about time the Assistant Ref did what his title says he should do.

It could be the last game of the season and earn the team points for them win the league or get into Europe etc, depending on the team. How about forget the ban and retrospective points deduction for the team, that will stop the managers accepting it as part of the game
