Brazil vs. Japan on right now as the inaugural match.
Neymar already scored a pretty good goal 3 minutes in.
Looking forward to Spain vs. Uruguay tomorrow.
This is only the 2nd FIFA tournament to use goal-line technology. The GoalControl system will be utilized throughout the tournament.

Nope, unfortunately. That should change once he's played for us though.

and...??
I'll take any excuse to watch football during the off-season. Thankfully there's a summer with the World Cup, then the Euro Cup, then the Copa America, and this. It makes the lack of league football more tolerable.

I'm with Gillie. It's a meaningless tournament. There's plenty of football around the world going on that's more interesting than this tournament. AND it's possible to get too much of something. I find the lack of football during the summer as something positive because it makes me look forward to the start of the season even more.

what other meaningful football is on television? The U-21s? Those end in 2 days.
I ask because I want to know what I've been missing out on.

Some people will say it was all Oscar with the pass but I loved the way he cut across the defender (and he still had to finish it)

Jo has been scoring right left and center for Atletico Mineiro in Bbrazil and so has Fred for Fluminense, which is why he [Fred] deservedly Brazil's first choice for CF.
Well done ^Jo^

I hope you're being funny, 10 in 29 is not scoring left, right and centre.
Admittedly, more than it was for us.
