For Falcao to come Tevez has to leave imo.
Falcao has a pretty good work rate, but no one can match Carlos. Also, Tevez is a little bit better with his
feet and shiftiness than Falcao I think.

in my eyes that's part of the holistic approach, isn't it? That's how the director of football system works. Barca and Real follow this system to varying degrees, and I am inclined to believe we have also adopted it based on the appointment of tricky and sorry, and the fact that we are still rumored to be targeting players even after Mancini's departure.

I took this as a given, but I do not believe our club has outlined this policy anywhere officially, so it is only opinion at this point.

No evidence but Mancini has been a dead man walking for weeks possibly months so any contract renewals and transfer targets will have been done by the board.

Agreed. There were 2 parts to what I said. Unlikely that anybody will sign for a club with no manager and we can't afford to be giving these signings the nod on who it might be as they can't hold their own piss!

I would hope that there is some cooperation there, and realistically I think it would only be a benefit to add a manager's potential knowledge about certain players into the decision making process ... but in the end, I think it will play a part, and not be a final factor.

For example, Pelligrini may come in with some requests, and we may look at it and some of it may line up with people we had scouted and had on our own list. Potentially Isco, for example ... if you believe press that we had targeted him last year/throughout this season. In a case such as that, it probably makes sense to target that player ... or at least move them up in the list, however it is ranked. But if there are some players we hadn't scouted before, we may start scouting them, but I think it is much less likely that we'll bring in anybody on a managers direction alone.

That's my opinion anyway ... we have little info about how the club will actually conduct such matters, it all comes down to speculation at a point.
