Hearing rumours he told some City fans to fuck off.

Did that happen and was it the reason for the booking?

Being the shitest ever left back in City's history is usually enough but today I sensed something else was in play.

Happened right in front of us in 117. Fans were anxious that he wasn't closing down their player so were shouting get stuck in, make a tackle.

The ball bounced of him for a corner and he let rip into the crowd for a good 5 seconds or so telling us all to fuck off.

I hope I never see him in sky blue ever again the arrogant twat.

The fans were shouting 'Get stuck in'? Are you sure that a few weren't hurling abuse at him (we all know what most think of him) and he then gave it them back?

I could see him ending up in Italy, which might suit his style of play better than most other countries, but I just hope he doesn't go to Fiorentina as I've a bit of a soft spot for that Club.

Amazes me that football fans think they're the fountain of all knowledge when it comes to football. Why don't we all become managers then? We'd win everything.

At the end of the day it breaks my heart to say it but we've probably seen him play his last match today. So you'll all have your wish and you won't have to moan about him next season.

PS. No doubt in my mind he'd have done it even if he knew he wasn't off at the end of the season anyway. He's definitely not the type of guy to hold back.

He was doing the right thing at the time - stood his man towards the tackler, didn't let him come inside, didn't lunge in to get beat and/or give a free kick away etc etc... I think he was within his rights to tell 200 or so of the football sages giving it "snap 'im, get into him, fucking tackle him you knob..." to fuck off.

Ben Thatcher would have tried to elbow him rather than make the tackle. Tiatto would have tried to boot him in to the stands than make the tackle. Jensen would have let him go passed him. Tony Vaughn would have tripped over his own feet thinking about how wonderful the rags are and how he couldn't wait to get home and put his rag shirt on. Garrido wouldn't have closed him down and would most likely still be up the pitch wondering whether to bother running back. Wayne Bridge would have backed off until the last minute, dived in and the guy would have skipped passed him.

Kolarov isn't the best, but please don't forget we've had some very very bad left-backs over the years.

obviously not there so don't know what happened ... but he should probably not react like that to the fans. That being said, I think it's a little bit less than honest to say that there weren't any fans saying some less than savory things to him. We've seen how some of the baltics react to national comments on the board, do you suppose some might react the same in real life?

And why should a player on your team be getting abused by his own fans during the game? Seems pretty idiotic on all counts no matter how you feel about kolarov, he's on the field trying to play the game and win for City.
