I think he's had a decent season. Couple of times he's been left wanting, but everyone has games like that.
Glad he's staying.

Great news. I thought he had a good season this year, maybe not as good as the title winning season but no one else did either tbf.
Should be our left back for years to come, thankfully.

Good lad Clichy. He's had a few more bad performances this season compared to the last season but so have most of the players. I'm sure he will work hard on improving over the summer.

Disgraceful of city's propaganda machine to release this news today while we still all have our black armbands on.
Cunts.

Oh no. He's nowhere near good enough. I was hoping we may have gone for Baines. The only reason he seems half decent is cos Kolarov is the alternative (sorry Mase).

I like Clichy solid and dependable but he was only available as he has flaws and Pellegrini needs to work with him on them all summer.

Closing down crosses, priority as he NEVER closes the man in possession down, and his final ball into the opposition penalty areas.

Work on both of them he'll be world class

Personally I think both full back s had a good season. Glichy had a bad final , but so to did zableta.both full backs are left isolated when silva and nasri play wide. Zableta has been better protected when milner plays right mid. Glichy has not had this protection this season.

good news - may not have had a flawless season, but continued to separate himself from the pack as the best LB on this team. would love to see us sign a young up and coming LB (shaw from southampton or byram from leeds) to eventually step in as the first choice LB in a few years, but i'm glad clichy will be around a few more years.

I am very glad on the first positive sign of health from the Club, of recent.

Now, I'll be over the moon when the skipper will be back to life on saying City will bounce back next season.

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!

I think Mancini's tactics were to allow the cross and let the centre halves deal with it to be honest mate, as both full backs tended to tuck in when a player had the ball wide.

The tactic seemed to be to occupy the space the player wanted to run into and force the cross.

Seemed odd at first, but once you got used to the centre halves dealing with it, it was fairly effective albeit a bit counter intuitive

I think the best news about this is we know the next manager is already locked down, they wouldn't sign an extension without knowing the new manager is going to use him.
