It did bring a little tear....I'm genuially sad that things turned out like they have. Great touch from Bob Manc. Gone but never forgotten.

Typical of him to do this. He said once that he wanted to build a team "of good men" and he was the best of men himself. He gave the supporters three of the best days of our City-supporting lives, and the three best years overall; his sacking is a sad, bad day for this wonderful old club. I wanted him at City for a generation. Maybe City will go on to great things in the future, but without Mancini it'll be like celebrating your wedding day without your dad being present.
