But isn't this often the case though when the manager is fired? Fresh start for everyone, noone has any advantages. I guess most of these guys are playing to show themselves before teh summer. We were playing for league position and for a Golden Glove - hardly meaningless. 20 shots on target and 7 off target tells me a lot about their effort tonight.

Same shitty end product/finishing that led to us not competing for the league. If we had a player like Rvp they'd be getting 30, 40+ goals a season easily. Frustrating to watch knowing that one switch of the button would have led to (fucking relegated) Wigan being beat on sat.

No offence taken though you 1)conveniently ignore my positive comment and 2) can't argue that the shots to goals converion rate has been an issue all season and for whatever the reason, tonight underlines that.

Agree their keeper made some good saves, the fact that he saved 20 goal bound efforts says something about him, as I've acknowledged on the MOM thread.
