Could create some unrest though with Silva, Isco, Kevin, and Sterling battling for 3, sometimes 2, starting spots

I've wanted him for quite a while and would be over the moon if we got him. You're right about competition though, this would definitely be the plane ticket booked for nasri if it's not already.

Maybe Pep is going to pair him with Thiago and Merlin.

Seems there might be some truth in this.

No doubting the lads ability. I'd be more than happy to see him at the club. He'd certainly fit in with us & he's the right age to become a long term successor to Merlin but....

Is he a priority right now over a striker?
Is this the first Guardiola signing?

No Kevin was the first pep signing.

For him to actually come here, we need to sell Nasri.

I'll carry Nasri on my back to whichever team want him!

could spell the end of Navas too...to some mid-table La Liga club.

Would love to have him, but even though Nasri is clearly going, Isco would not be a guaranteed starter, unless we plan to tell Sterling he's not starting regularly anymore.

Seems to me Isco is making just a little bit too much noise on this.

One theory with Txiki and Ferran is that 'you had your chance and you blew It'.

But we do need to replace Nasri so you never know

Depends upon what role he will play. He may play deeper.
And nasri as good as gone navas on way out.

This season he is cup tied in the CL so we could rest one of the others and play him in the league game before.

Seems to me we're short of people who can score. He can score.

People can moan about Ota and Mangler as much as they like but it's failure to convert chances that's cost us the PL lead. E.g. Leicester and Villa to name but 2

I'd have preferred him to Sterling in the Summer and still would.
Sorry Raheem but get a first touch and a left peg and you'll be fine.

Stop falling over like he should be wearing a nappy and I'll be happy enough with Sterling. He's found the net at vital times and links well with the playmakers. Is hard to find players remotely on Silva's wavelength.

The way we want to play we need as many attacking mids as possible and the more versatile the better.

Sometimes Sterling is brilliant and sometimes crap. The trick is having him on the field or the bench at the right time!!

Guillem Balague very strongly denies Real Madrid will sell Isco in January. Zero chance he says. If he comes it'll be in the Summer, I think.
