Mancini Poll

There have been a lot of comments recently and I don't normally start a poll but I became really interested.
Quite a few say we should maintain stability and so keep Mancini. So I wanted to know, how many want to keep Mancini becuase of Mancini and how many because of stability?
I want him to stay because of stability, but I am yet to be convinced by the man

I might want stability, but the decision is out of my hands and whoever turns up will get my full support - I'm a City fan first and foremost & that why it hurts as it's the club that I care about not the players, the owners or the management.

There are only 2 managers i think that could come to city in a weeks time and win the league next season. One of them is taggart and the other is mourinho.
I don't want either at city and i would rather stick with a frustrating mancini than wait another 2 years for any improvement.
Personally i don't think mancini is the problem anyway. That team last night won the league last season barring nastasic. Most of them though have stopped playing since that day last may.
Hart. Kompany. Yaya. Silva. Aguero. None of them have done their jobs this season because they are all guaranteed a start and none of them have any competition in the squad.

We almost pissed away the league by playing like shit against relegation battlers last season and we got our cummupence yesterday
I think to say only 2 other managers could win us the league next season is a little daft

But its Mancinis job to motivate them? Why are so many people missing this point? Its his job! And if he cant do it other managers can.. thats the cut throat world of football management.
I mean what is his job, to pick the team? 99% of fans could pick the best team out of that lot. Tactics? Hes been outsmarted soo many times this season and infact this 3 at the back wtf how many games did we lose or draw due to messing around with that? Hes come up short mate. Transfers? Our owners dont want a manager that wants to keep spending millions when we already have talent at the club that he cant get the best out of. So whats the best thing to do? Spend millions on players he might row with or fail to get performing or bring in a coach that can make the current team play?.. Its a simple solution.
This isnt about Mancini bashing.. most of us admire the bloke. Its about looking at our squad and saying wow.. not in a million years did I ever think we'd have all these great players AND wow not in a million years did I think we'd be so inept with those players in an FA cup final.
You know.. fans at most other clubs are actually quite shellshocked at how embarrassingly we performed yesterday.

Just to much ego on him and did not show me any kind of plan B , to much shit preformance, he can't make a team spirit, to much gaff with players, to much time go against hes word, buying players and then do not know what to do with them ,fans know first eleven and they almost allways right so nobody needs to scaut us at all, shit CL two years,15 points behind rags with this team, blaming players in public , never take responsobility, ect ect,if this is stability i vote no hes gone.

Oh I dont know I am totally confused and baffled to be honest. I have always stuck by him probably because I have stuck by the club through thick and thin over the years. Part of me feels his tactics have been dire at times and I have questioned some decisions he has made. Another part feels that the guy deserves to stay because of what he has brought us as fans in the past couple of years. Two major tropheys and 'that' ending to last season. I dont think there is much credit in all this Pellegrini talk and think its maybe been about Isco coming more than anything. However I dont understand the silence from the board. Something seems totally amiss. I just wonder if the new guys want someone who will implement they're plans without any stubborness, of which its plain to see Mancini will only do what Mancini wants to do.
I will be here next year and the years after that, unless of course I have some bizarre accident on the allotment involving a pitch fork, a rooster and some not very magic beans.
I also apologise for my outburst, foul mouthed behaviour on the boards yesterday. It was passion, hurt and cider to blame. No excuse.
So........... I conclude......
Keep him one more season, buy who he feels will battle the players for a place and who he thinks will make us stronger. Should he then fail then..... Toodle pip pop pop.
One more season.

Can we have a "I'd like Mancini to stay unless we can get a bona fide upgrade" option?

I want Mancini. He deserves one more year to put things right. He's got to start promoting the kids to challenge the stars.

I hope the rumours circulating about barcelona considering pellegrini are true, we don't want or need him at city he has won fuck all.I am going to laugh my bollocks off when robero mancini gets the vote of confidence that he thoroughly deserves for the success he has given us.only a lunatic would want to replace the most succesful manager we have had in years, 37, 000 fans sung roberto mancini name loudly and clearly, a ringing endorsement if ever there was one.the 2 spanish pricks should be sacked before they can do any more damage, they fucked up our season, and our cup final, yet robero mancini gets the blame for it all, truly shocking.

This is more or less the way I feel about the situation. This season has been step back for sure but I anticipated something like this sooner or later. I'd be willing to seriously consider my stance if someone could come with some names who'd be guaranteed to improve us immediately. Dortmund manager is the only one I'd even consider.
I pretty much knew by july last year that we'd struggle somewhat this year because we weren't able to add competition and quality depth to key positions. Mancini wanted likes of De Rossi and Hazard and ended up with Garcia and Sinclair. Like so many times during the season I was left wondering if we'd had that sort of guys there instead of Barry and struggling Silva what the outcome would've been.
The lack of hunger and massive hangover from last year. Mancini should shoulder responsibility for those though.
