Possible final ticket available

Postby anthonytomo » Fri May 03, 2013 12:29 pm

I have a mate who is possibly selling his cup final ticket. Problem is, although he doesn't want to he will have to charge more than the £45 face value to cover the cost of something else might be doing the same day. If anyone's interested PM me with what your willing to pay for it. It is one ticket only

Your the fucking arseholes, you know fuck all about the situation. If you don't want to buy the ticket then fuck off. There might be people out there who need a ticket, who are willing to pay a little more, which will mean my mate can afford to do what he needs to do. If he can't afford to do the other thing then why would he give up a cup final ticket? Fuckwits. Not everyone's buying tickets just to sell them for a profit, he's a season ticket holder who is torn between the two events. A very nice person too.

And there are people who "need" tickets who might have been able to get one were it not for the people who buy tickets knowing full well they will be selling them on for more, irrespective of what they are using the profits for.

You're wrong to say I know nothing about the situation. I know that the tickets have a face value and your friend intends to sell his ticket on at more than face value. In my book, and probably the book of the people he has deprived of a face value ticket, he sounds like an arsehole. A very nice arsehole.

1. You called him an arsehole, I called you a fucking arsehole.
2. He didn't buy it knowing he was going to sell it on for profit, he thought he would be going, and certainly will if he can't get the money to go to something quite important that's come up in his life
3.he hasn't deprived anyone that deserves a ticket of one anymore than he did, he got his because he has a season ticket, he's on the cup scheme, and he had enough points.
4. If people don't want to pay more than face value then there are still tickets available, presuming of course they 'deserve it' and they can afford the £115 ones that are left.
And finally, no one has come on here saying I want £200 for a ticket, you have no idea what he might take, in fact I'm certain it's nothing silly that he needs.

It's a sad day when you see City fans trying to flog tickets for a profit no matter what the [strike]excuse[/strike]reasons

The guy offered a ticket. I don't see the problem. If you don't want it why come on causing arguments?

Its the selling at a profit thats the problem.
I know on BM its specifically against the code of conduct for selling tickets above face value, ie "ticket tauting". I'm surprised its allowed here!

Thank you LB2. It's not a buy/sell for profit ticket tauting racket business. This is a genuine blue, who bought a cup final ticket with all intentions of going as he is city through and through. Something has come up in his life which he really wants to happen but he needs extra cash at the moment. If he can't get it then he will be going the final. Genuine offer to other blues that might not be able to go otherwise and could help his situation in return. I've met a few people off here and been a member for quite a while and although its not me doing the selling (taking the shit for it though), people will know I've never done this before.

With all due respect, If i bought a final ticket, but also wanted to go on holiday at the same time but couldn't afford to, then I could sell my ticket at a profit and go on a cheap holiday.

However you wanna dress it up, and whatever the other thing is, It all boils down to the same thing, its a story about buying a ticket with the intention to sell it on at a profit.

If he can't make a good enough profit, he won't sell it. So yeah, you've got a fucking cheek posting this shit on here

You know what, think what you like of me and my friend for doing this. Any people that are doubting why he is selling can get to fuck, you either want a ticket or not, if you do get in touch, if you don't, get to fuck. I don't have to justify myself or my friend to anyone. Someone will be very great full I started this post because they will get to pay a price they are willing to pay for a ticket they might not have got any other way. Bunch of self righteous twats that don't understand that others might have problems in their life. Thanks to the people who can see this as genuine, thanks to the people who have made an offer.
