Good luck Uwe!

Really hope he does it today. Had his name on the back of my red/black shirt in 1994 when I was a kid - always been one of my fave City players. Would be great if he could take Brentford up automatically.

It would be an amazing acheivement. 9th last season after a huge influx of players (all free I think) and then pushing for an automatic place this year with only a few transfers.

Like you say, good luck and even if they doesn't make it, he's had a successful season.

Can't make up my mind if spurs losing is a good or a bad thing, given my enduring hope that the gonners don't make the top 4. It might free up Bale, of course, although I doubt he'd be coming to us.

I want Spurs to win. I know that's not kosher in this day and age but I so much want them to overtake Chelsea or Arsenal. Their mistake this season was to buy Ade (and that was our blessing).

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Wolves are in serious bother now.I bet they wish they had never got rid of Mick McCarthy.Down to 2nd from bottom and 3 points off safety.

Barca losing to Athletic Bilbao and looking distinctly ordinary. Messi coming on for Xavi with half an hour to go. Time to see if they really are a one man team

Edit. That will be a yes. Game changes immediately and after less than ten minutes he skips past three defenders and slots it in the corner. Then involved in another goal a minute later.

If Real lose today to Athletico, the title is wrapped up. According to the commentator, that would be the earliest win since 1970s. I will be rooting for Athletico since I have a soft spot for them.
