From the Sunday Times:

Valencia coach Ernesto Valverde, 49, is being considered as a potential replacement for Roberto Mancini after Manchester City failed with moves for Pep Guardiola and Manuel Pellegrini.

It's a bloody different one every week. Who next, Frank Clarke?

Lets see, its been Mourinho, then definately Pep, then of course Laudrup was linked before Pellegrini had apparently "agreed to become our manager" two weeks ago. Now we've gone down a peg or two to these others - I see Koeman linked as well today, really ... really?

If you are going to make this shit up you could at least try to be plausible. Come the end of April The Mirror will have Eddie the Eagle Edwards as our new boss.

Apprarently we may also demand up to £20m for Kompany from Barcelona. In related news, Messi will be coming to City for as much as £25m as thats about as likely.
