I really do. They aren't fabricated and Mancini either bats off with a laugh and a joke or gives them genuine answers.

He nearly had me there though, and many of the media about Edin. I bet they wished they'd never confirmed (although I think the 1st response is closer to the mark) ;-)

Cheeky rascal's have even linked it to a pic of Gail Tyldesly training at ours.

Scamps ;-)

I hate them except when Platt does them as he understands clearly what the reporter is trying to get as an answer and avoids it.Mancini is close to the opposite. Mancini gets close to saying nothing but does drop in things he shouldn't say like, yes we are looking to get rid of Dzeko, even if he does try to back off that later.Damage done.

Do you not think he's being sarcastic? Like last season telling the press the rags had won the league even when we'd won it!

Strange , in Ballo case he was until last moment we wont sell we wont sell and to say that we looking to let go Edin then like he is said that in summer u don't know who will go , but that slip was on purpose i think because bouth club and Edin i think wont more offers by clubs. In Bosnia Dortmund is like almost job done by news and like Inter is in game for him ,but i think he would never play for Inter and Borussia will play Champions League and in Germany hes well respected . so i think he will go to Borussia. There will be space for new strikers then .I still hope with one of Cavani or Falcao we go for Michu also.

No I don't.The rag stuff last year wasn't sarcasm imo .It was a mixture of the truth plus taking the pressure off us and putting it on them.

There are times when he tries sarcasm as a joke but too often I don't think he is clear on what he is being asked and gives answers he shouldn't.That and the fact that he has a number of stock phrases he uses about players and teams and managers it's almost not worth having the press conference. That's as much down to the patheticness of the reporters asking inane questions but I don't think he helps.

That's why I like them Doug, it's actually the uselessness of the journo's that make them. Take yesterdays presser for example, I tuned in to see what he had to say about Barnsley yet when they broke the clips down there was only about 3 minutes on the actual game. The rest was full of inane questions about Rooney, Ronaldo, Nani etc which Mancini just shuts off to and gives the basic blag. It's not about the content for me, it's more like a game of cat and mouse and watching for where Mancini drops stuff.

Very entertaining at times.

I suppose he could liven things up even further by adopting the Wenger approach and asking the journos why they're all looking/staring at him.....

But then again, perhaps not.

Or wear a David Platt mask or tell them to fuck off.

I don't think we need to ban them mate, not unless they write real shit that is totally out of order.

I noticed that there were no real shit questions yesterday which was down to Cooper not being there. Can't stand that little turd.
