Everton away

I've been given a couple of free tickets to the Everton game from a client of mine, however, they are in the home stands!
I've never been to Goodison before, what's it like? I'm in two minds as to whether to take a mate or go with the wife (she loves city!).
Any info appreciated, including parking etc!
Cheers

Not as rum as it once was, I would still suggest low profile though tbh, parking in school close to the ground, safe and used by the home supporters is fine. One of them grounds where if you have been to Fulham or QPR it is not gonna be that, looking for the right words here, Hostile, Everton can be particularly against us for some reason. Hope it helps.

I'm no stranger to sitting in the away stand, on that magical day last May I was in the QPR away stand with my brother in law, that was hard I can tell you!
The tickets I've been given are an Everton emplyee's season tickets, which are apparently located next to the directors seating (but in the public area obviously)?
I just don't want to take the missus and end up in the middle of a load of irate scousers, much rather take a mate for that!

If recent City performances at Goodison are anything to go by I don't think they'll be too irate

You'll be fine. I have been to Goodison Park twice for matches (neither of them V City) and I found the Evertonians a very friendly bunch. Sat both times in the Gladdis Street end.
Just dont go mental if city score and god forbid actaully win at Goodison.

Youll be fine in that area - Bullens Rd (Everton side), Gladwys Street and Park Stands are where you'd prob get some bother.
In the unlikely event of a City goal, Id remain seated though just to be on the safe side. As its Everton away you are probably safe in that regard.

I could probably get you hospitality tickets through a concierge service I use but they are not cheap sadly :-(

I was talking to him about Wembley tickets IF we get through and he mentioned the United home game, prices are around £299 + VAT per head, and is the reason I will be watching on the telly!
I'd pay that at a push for hospitality at the Etihad but no way in the swamp!

Eh Marshy, are you 'Massively' into paying 'Masive' prices for a ticket? I'll sell you mine for a 'Massively' inflated sum, 'Massively' inflated by the 'Massive' Rag cunts who are offering already.
What'da ya say 'Massive', for one of the 38 game sell-outs; a mere
Grand, to see your team?
If not, here's a mates site that you can get it at a reasonable price: [urlnp=http://fuckyou.com/]
Link[/urlnp]
Good luck pal :-)

Just been on google earth and there doesn't seem to be anywhere for a pre game pint! Infact, the ground looks a lot like a jail.
Do you just go straight through the turnstiles and have a drink inside?
