I think it means he prefers to watch on and sit on his fat arse than bother to jog up and down the touchline pretending to be interested.

I love thats this forum has adopted some arse eaters in the last couple of years. I dont even recognise your names probably because I've not read any of your worthwhile posts.

Oh wait.. theres this huge turd coming called I dont give a fuck either.

You know I was thinking maybe it meant he was thinking his legs have gone and maybe he was thinking about retiring at the end of the season. Or maybe he thought hed let the team down since signing and that was his state of mind. Or maybe yeah its right and its a translation issue.

I am very much of the opinion that Maicon is going to score a mega-crucial goal for us this season that will make his transfer worthwhile.

I think it's pretty fucking obvious what his post means. He is congratulating the team on the victory. Or are you too much of a moron/thick fuck to work this pretty simple thing out?

It's a simple translation problem, but the bile aimed at the OP is what makes Internet forums so shit sometimes.

I'm guessing if this was asked as a genuine question in the pub nobody would be so quick to lay assault.

Fucking keyboard warriors.

forums are also funny. it wouldn't be the same if we didn't give it the biggen.

i think it translates to something about letting others graft while he wonders why his waist line is about to blow.

He is saying in his broken English that it is more important to him that the team won than that he played.

"It's great to see the city win" = Yay! [(c) Dazby].

"Better that" = I'd prefer...

"it is plaing with the shirt of the city" = to be playing.

"Congratulations team" = well done the lads.

That's what I read, these fucking unwashed back home have only just discovered there are people outside of Lancashire...and the war is over, so give them a break.

'Better that' = 'Even better than'. The word for 'than' in Portuguese is the same as the word for 'that'. He's saying what matters is that the team picks up three points, no matter who gets picked.

There are a lot of posters posting these snide 'Pah! Your thread is shite, amigo!' comments these days. How anal can you get? It's embarrassing.

Lee_R asked a valid question. If you can't be arsed bothering with it, don't bother with it. Why the twattery?
