They're all fantastic, but I'd probably go for Tevez if forced to choose.

Elano. Both because of its beauty but also because it was the pinnacle of a very enjoyable afternoon. It put the dot over the I, so to speak.

Elano. Absolute stunner and still amazes me every time I see it from the camera angle behind the ball.

Without any shadow of a doubt, the BEST City free kick ever(?) was the one that decided the two legged, League Cup Semi Final in 1969 at the swamp. Not that the kick itself was as eye candy for Blues as some of the excellent ones we have witnessed since but the circumstances were both dramatic and hilarious...as good as Chuckle feeding the Goat.
Feelings were running high as it was. With a Wembley final as the prize, the 1st leg at the Maine Road had ended in controversy. In the very last minute, Frannie Lee fell over Ian Ure's leg and converted the ensuing penalty to put City 2-1 up. Best lost his cool in the rag protests and ended up getting a 4 match ban. The rags were furious...we thought it was hilarious.
The 2nd leg was as tense as it gets. Bowyer scored for City 1-0 (3-1 agg), the rags equalised 1-1 (3-2 agg). Law score for the rags 1-2 (3-3 agg)...all to play for.
If the 1st leg had ended in hilarity for the Blues, the next bit put the cap on it. City were awarded an indirect free kick. It HAD to be touched by another player but Lee just hammered it at the goal. All Stepney had to do was let it pass him into the net and NO GOAL. He didn't. The idiot tried to unnecessarily save it, failed to hold it and Summerbee pounced on the dropped ball...2-2 (3-2 agg).
The rags were spitting shite and we were laughing...all the way to Wemberlee.

Tarnat... For some reason everything about those days just seem so much more emotive and definately more nostalgic.
When that went in (didnt benarbia also score a ridiculous curler?) i fell off my bar stool!

Plumped for Elano as it followed one of my very few prescient moments in life where I pointed the exact spot out to a pub of Blues where he should hit it..........and the rest was history.

Had there been no netting, that ball would've hit me straight in the face. I'm sure of it. I had a mega view of that strike in all its beauty.

I liked Elano and his free kick was incredible but somehow Tevez's was even more amazing.

A close call but i'd have to say Tarnat, simply for the reason that it was the furthest (not by much though)

I think that was the one where Anelka scored the winner late on, from an impossible angle and through the keeper's legs.
On the topic, Tevez's, it's just beautiful.

Tevez by a whisker.
That said I went mental for his free kick v Chelsea as I did robinhos v Chelsea.
Special mention to a few of kolarovs efforts and the two Garrido ones as well.
