Impressive from Webb. to be five yards from it and not call a foul. Perhaps he was blindsided. Has to be a retrospective ban, surely.

It should've been a red card and I think the pundits/press & Webb now know it should've been red
but in the end we won and it won't help us at all if he's banned
I'd just let it go and move on

Considering the huge fuss made about kompanys legitimate tackle and hazards pathetic attempt to kick that tart of a ballboy this guy should receive a length ban because no two ways about it that was a leg breaker attempt no doubt about it Fucking disgrace.

At the end of the season everyone will look at how many more red cards and pens went against us and/or in rags' favor. But non-calls like this are just as damaging to our chances. The system is so fucking bent it's untrue.

Every game with this scum there's an elbow but that today they could have finished a career. It was deliberate also. Expect fuck all to be done about it.

Probably best if the FA ban him for a while and he can get back to tarmacing drives.

Jesus! Is the only criterion people give a shit about whether we benefit from sth or not? That sounds kinda pathetic.
Letting such a deliberate attempt to injure a player go will only result in more cunts trying to get away with similar assaults in the future. Ban the cunt, because he deserves it.

That's what I mentioned in the match thread, it should be about consistency of applying the rules and about accountability of officials as well as players.

Last season Webb 'missed' the Balotelli 'stamp' in the Spurs game and was similarly close to the players, then banned him. Let's see what he does now.

Of course he should be punished and banned but if Webb says he seen the incident and didn't warrant a straight red, are the FA powerless to act? Im sure thats the case.

What good is he getting banned AFTER we are done at Stoke for the season ... when do they play the rags? I'll decide after checking that whether he should miss any games or not ...

Thought Etherington's on Zabaleta on the touchline was another shocker. Looked pretty innocuous at first but when seen again he knees Zaba's planted leg right on the knee. Exactly how to damage knee ligaments. Stoke are scum and as I've said before I don't know the name of their sport but it definitely isn't football.

Yes and it went without a yellow unlike the tame booking Kolarov received for a minor push - Stoke were awful, aggressive, snidey little shits and we beat them - that's how far we've developed as a side, we can rough it but still play some lovely football

Garcia has tweeted a youtube clip of the tackle. He is obviously not impressed

He must have deleted it quickly as it isn't amongst his recent tweets?
