Interesting that a week ago Mancini came out and said we won't buy anyone, yet yesterday said we may buy someone. It looks like he's been told we are getting someone.

Odds on a South American as that's where Beguristain has been.

Same here pal. Need someone of the zabba mould in midfield to take games by the scruff of the neck when we are struggling to get through walls of defence. Would be pleased if its one of those buys like kompany who dont cost silly money yet prove to be a strong sound addition to the team.

I think the days of us making bargain buys are over. I suspect the minute any club hears it's us in for someone the price rockets.

This is why ffp is bollox because it overly punishes the buying clubs as much as it rewards the selling club..... If only players had a list price and it came down to preference/wages!

I think we should sign somebody comical so we can all have a right good moan & take the pressure off Kolarov, Balotelli etc.

Nasti didnt break the bank and saw Richard ashcroft happily being taken off our hands.

Little potter in my head about bergerstain in south America and lots of talk of neymar moving. Nothing was really said about us having first dibs on he lad which supposedly we had.

15 mil euros plus whatever the Master Of Disaster was valued at, is not cheap for a 19 year old defender.

I think the Neymar thing was just a short term option, but it shows that the club have been on his case for a long time, as they were with Silva, Yaya etc.

For 7 million ba should be able to take his pick of any you ten side. Any manager not in for him is a spastic because i don't know a single front line in the top 10 he wouldn't strengthen.

I am I the only one not sold on a holding midfield player from Serie A? maybe just cos he's approaching 30 and I'm thinking final paydays like the Dabo's Trabelsi's of the world

Xabi Alonso is apparently available. would anyone have him at City?

Agree on both counts wouldn't mind alonso and cannot say im sold on the idea of someone who has repeatedly(apparently) turned city down.
My old man suggested fat frank to get us by while yaya was away at acn.not sure im convinced but could he do the job?would anyone have him?

I think Chelsea's system is set up to accommodate Lampard. Our system doesn't accommodate anyone but it would give us something different.

I only wanna see Sinclair go somewhere....seeing as we won't sell him, i'd like to see him go out on loan to hopefully increase his value so we can sell him at the end of the season.

i hope we keep Lescott and Kolo, at least until the end of the season.

i don't think we need anybody...unless we sell Balo, which we won't. maybe a central midfielder on loan just to make up the numbers.

I don't think Falcao leaves AM and we won't get de Rossi either.

Whoever we are bringing, bring him in NOW ... quickly, please don't drag feet now, no poont bringing in one or two guys at the end of Jan by when two three crucial games have gone by and we've dropped more points in em.

I'm not sold on yet another holding midfield either, especially a 30 year old, we got fat baz for that. I want to see someone central, creative and speeding things up, especially on the counter.
