Just heard on radio as breaking right now ... what is this? Any one has details?
Radio said, after the game at Clattenburg, the fourth official.

His overall effort is outstanding, he did give the ref a volley in the 1st half,no doubt Clattenburg would have been dancing with the rags on the touchline. Barry top man and made a big effort in Dortmund to mingle with the fans so fuck the FA.

Rooney swears into the referee's face in pretty much every game he plays and gets away with it.
I'm not saying that they shouldn't take action against Barry, just that the same rules should apply to all.

You could see him literally biting his lip when the foul was given against him after they scored the third. The officials were dreadful and deserved anything Barry said to them. They were insulting the game of football.

Looks like we are getting a bit of special treatment from the officials.Hardly surprising with that weasel of a man Clattenburg inolved.

Am reminded of.........
Player to Ref..."Hey ref,if I called you a twat, what would you do?"
Ref.............."Send you off!"
Player.........."If I thought you were a twat, what would you do?"
Ref.............."Nothing!"
Player.........."Hey ref, I THINK you're a twat!"

Nice one John; you're a raconteur of the first order.
Thank goodness for a little humour in a thoroughly depressing situation.

Ta Pal....:-)
Sadly, in attempts to sanitize the game, players now approach the ref at the end of a game to shake him by the hand. All well and good under normal circumstances but dangerous when they really want to shake him by the throat. In that situation, players should be urged to stay away.
Am not sure if the handshake at the end is part of a FiFA/UeFA/FA compulsory order.

Yeah, that was the moment. Good shout, mate.
Weird decision, i mean, before they scored, Tevez gets a yellow after a thew : "fuck off"s in the direction of Atkinson. He got a yellow, but he could had been suspended, while Gaz was holding himself back.
But hey, what would hurt us more? Suspending Tevez, when we can substitute him with Sergio, Big Ed or Mario or charging Baz, when Yaya is injured and Rodwell and Garcia are in a poor form?

One more reason to love Gareth Barry
The witch-hunt continues it seems. Automatic one match ban or two if appealed. The midfield for Saturday could be interesting

The words "carve-up" and "complete" spring to mind.

I'm not sure whether Opta/whoever does that PlayerCam thing do stats on this, but I'd love to see what percentage of the time United have a player closer to the referee than the opposing team do throughout the game. From what I've seen this season, it appears to be about 90% of the time. I'm wondering whether this is one of Fergie's unwritten tactics to help influence decisions...

It has been happening for over a decade.

This kind of thing just cements the resolve of the team, squad, management and fans to bring all together .
Edit:
The truth hurts sometimes and i am pretty sure Gareth tried to sort a few things out ...

Wasn't that a Rodney Marsh quote?
RM: 'Ref, can I be punished if I think something bad of you?'
Ref: 'No'.
RM: 'Right then, I think your a twat!'.
Or words to that effect ;-)
But what the fuck! What could be so controversial that Clattenburg had to report it to the ref, surely he's used to that shit?
Makes my blood boil that he's singled out when you get those cunts abusing the ref all game. I actually thought the ref's were shit on Sunday and seemed very much pro-Rag, allowing them to kick us to fuck with no recourse. Seems Barry feels the same.

So the details are, and again speculated by some twat presenter on TalkSport (I don;t tune in regularly, so not sure what their names are, but whoever was on at around 4:30pm) ... the facts though caught my attention:
4 minutes of additional time was awarded ... United got the free kick on 58 seconds mark when they scored, and then went on celebrating for about 2 minutes, then Rio gets hit and the pitch invader comes in and all ... when the game restarted, according to City players they were expecting another 3 minutes to be played on (given the game stopped at 58 sec mark, well add the 5-10 secs it took for the free kick to fly in) ... but a total of 36 seconds were played after re-start and the ref called it a day ... yes, this was the same fucker who wouldn't blow his whistle when also 4 mins were given but till a winner was scored in 6th min of that infamous Fergie Time derby.
At this point, Gareth Barry, close to the centre line was seen running to Clattenburg who was kind of closest to him and complained about this ... and what dialogue took place I am sure everyone here can imagine ... fill it in with whatever expletives you may like!
Agian, this is as per that presenter about two hours ago on TalkSport and he too said this is his feeling after reviewing the tapes from the game, but FA or City haven't confirmed whether this was the incident or if he has been charged for something he said to the Ref earlier during the game ...
I haven't written much in the other threads but will say this, I hate all those bastards throwing coins in, they might have got Rio in the eye but cost us 3 full minutes. Fuck, we can score two more goals in that much time, and we have proven that ... those bunch of idiots are equally responsible (as much the bent refs) for not allowing us that opportunity ... we may or may not have scored but we never got the opportunity because of them!

Couldn't agree more. I said on the day that once the pissing about was finished and the players were all back the ref would end the game just to get everyone out of there, and he did. If it floats your boat, throw coins and kick the shit out of them after we've had a chance to sort it out on the pitch, not before. Especially not when we are losing, wasted our own time with that one.
Unbelievable about Barry. The stuff you see from scum players everytime they commit a foul is plain for all to see. But that's ok, even as it's broadcast around the world. The thing that nobody saw is reported by the officials and the FA respond to that.
They just love to stitch us up.
Adebayor was out to the sword when winding up the arse fans, Ferdinand did no wrong and it's the fans at fault. I'm not defending any of it, but I swear you could drive yourself insane thinking about the inconsistencies in all this bullshit.....!
