New signings in January

Do we need any in January? If so who? And why? An if not why not? I think the defence is settled, toure is not needed in midfield anymore, so maybe someone for him, sell nasri and get someone else in for him, gotze maybe? And sell dzeko or ballotelli and get a new forward, maybe falcao or lewandowski? Thoughts?

Highly unlikely that any business like that will be done in jan. but this squad needs a serious looking at in the summer.
Kolarov and dzeko lead the race for the exit door.
I think we need creative midfielder.

Thoughts? Not a chance we get those 2 Dortmund players and highly unlikely we get Falcao either.

I see no business being done in January...none coming in but maybe Sinclair being loaned out overseas.

i agree. unfortunately those that have underperformed, like Nasri, have done nothing to keep/increase their market
value since coming here. i.e: no way we sell Nasri for ~£10-15m when we bought him for over £20m. same thing with Dzeko, who would want to buy him at a price that we deem fair given spell here at the club?

but there are for sure 5 or 6 players i'd get rid of in the summer, and shockingly Kolarov isn't one of them.

A fit milner playing regularly in the team would be a massive bonus for me !

A bit of a long shot maybe but how about a bid for Mezhut Ozil ?

Will gotze leave Dortmund at the moment? He would be the ticket.
We need someone to do the job nasri was bought to do. I am very disappointed with nasri.

A resounding 'yes' to both of your thoughts. Ozil would certainly be fantastic - just wonder if it might involve Micah going in the other direction as Mourinho is supposedly a big fan.

Just wondered if we kept the receipts from our summer signings, in which case, we maybe entitled for a refund, as they were 'not as described on the box'! maybe except Nasti, who seems to be coming on a bit!

For me we need to get the following -

Wesley Sneider - someone who holds the ball in midfield, fight for possession and can play a killer pass from deeper to let aguero in.

Also it would stop the rags getting him which god forbid they do.

We also need a dynamic centre midfield player problem is I can't think of any other than Schweinsteiger at Bayern. There is a massive gap in talent for a centre midfielder with an engine.

Walcott will be available for pennys by the looks of things, we have to have a go for him surely! He would be ideal!

Reus cost Dortmund 17m and is there highest paid player on 80k a week. Just signed in July no chance of getting him.

Bloody good though!
