was going to post it as well.

Well... let's try to think positive... and stay off theories... ;)
If we can be so good to get through the Bridge, just after a massive clash with RM, with that twurd in charge... certainly won't be the Pussy Rags to stop us!
Fear the worst though, after all the hype about the "win gifted by a non penalty"!
Massive game! we'll see what stuff the Lads are made of.

COME ON CITY!

btw, Lee Probert at the Swamp...

As Rafa would say, a few 'Facts'.

In the last 5 seasons to date, Foy has the following record with us:

Won: 10
Drawn: 3
Lost: 4

FACT!

This season, Foy has ref'ed us once where we beat QPR 3-1. He has also ref'd the Rags once against Spurs (mwwwwaaaahhhhhh, we all know how that ended up) but strangely didn't get a Prem game for nearly a month afterwards.

FACT!

Last season he ref'd us 3 time, 2 wins and 1 loss. The wins were emphatic against Newcastle and Norwich while the loss was the worst sending off I've possibly ever seen after Rooney asked the ref for a Vinnie red. He duly obliged. This came shortly after overseeing a Crystal Palace win against the Rags at the Swamp.

FACT!

Season 10-11 seen him ref us the most in the past 5 seasons; 5 times. We won 2, drew 2 and lost 1, the 1 coming against Chelsea away. Ominous? Our old friend Sturridge was also sent off in the final game of the season against Bolton.

FACT!

09-10 saw us not losing a single game in 4. Home wins against Hammers, Arse and Blackburn with an away draw to Sunderland giving us an impressive haul.

FACT!

And finally, 08-09 we broke even against our opposition with 2 wins and 2 draws with his last game for us that season being the Derby. We lost 2-0 with Tevez scoring his 14th (out of 15) goal of the season. Dirty Rag twat!

FACT!

So, looking at the 'Facts', he doesn't seem to have done too bad for us overall. What do you think?

Chris Foy is an Everton fan. He is not allowed to referee the club. Fact!

When Chris Foy sent off VK on 8/1/12, (at former Everton Hero Rooney's request), he didnt actually miss the Everton game on 31/1/12 but he was suspended until this date and this considerably disrupted our January performances. City lost the Everton game one nil.
If Foy sends a City player off against Chelsea it is likely they would also be suspended for the City v Everton game. We had better be careful!!!

Sorry Mate, I know it's total nonsense but, all those facts plus the saturday's non-penalty, really get me worried.
I'm mean, even statistically, You cannot have a positive Foy for too long,

very glad to be proved paranoid.
perhaps It's just the memory of how the same game, last season, had been completely overruled by another massive bent.

If Premier League refs had the gumption to strike, and leave their work to amateurs and fantasists for a single Saturday,it would not take a sceptical public long to appreciate how excellent referees have become.

Seeing that the above became a bit [strike]pathetic[/strike] prophetic, I thought I'd have a look at Chelsea's last five years under Foy and a quick scan at what happened in his matches for Benitez. Here's the results:

Chelsea

Wins: 10
Losses: 1
Draws: 1

Overall, Foy has ref'd 12 games this season and produced zero red cards to date. As mentioned, arguably his biggest game was the Rags v Spurs where Spurs ran-out 3-2 winners. Foy, who had a good game for me (he he he), didn't see another Premier League game for a month.

Strangely, he's not ref'd a Chelsea game this season and evenmore strange is that he hasn't ref'd a Chelsea game since 23 Oct 2011, that's a whole 12 months and 2 days. This came after he ref'd them twice in a month. First was a Carling Cup draw at home to Fulham where Alex was sent off and the second was an away Premier League fixture at QPR where they lost 1-0. Again, there was a bit of controversy when Foy seen red with 2 Chelsea players, Bosingwa and Drogba. If I'm not wrong, I can see a pattern occuring here when a club feels unjustly treated by a ref. Clattenburg, Foy, is there something in this Mr Riley?

The 3 previous seasons saw Foy oversee 10 games and maximum points for Chelsea. One of these games was against us away at Stamford Bridge where although we fought well, we eventually went down to 2 late goals from Luiz and Ramires. Another 2 of these games were 2 important games for Chelsea. The first was the Community Shield where they overcame the Rags in a penalty shoot-out. The second was the FA Cup final where a second half Drogba goal finally sunk the sinking ship of Portsmouth and gave Chelsea their first League and Cup double, or was it treble. Anyway, it does go to show that Chelsea were a very good team over this period and Chris Foy will have his name mentioned alongside theirs.

And what about Benitez, how did Foy fair with the Spanish Waiter? Well, I shouldn't have bothered should I. It soon became apparent that he is a Scouse supporter so never referee's any of their games. The only thing I can see here is that we play Everton so any straight reds could have an affect on that game, but surely not.

Go on sunshine (in a very Gallagher sort of way), show me where I've said that? Seems you want to start some 'agenda' or 'ref' trouble but you're not going to get it here pal.

I posted in a manner so people could make up their mind on whether Foy has been good or bad for both us and Chelsea. If you can't see that then God help you.
