Milner was man of the match a couple of games ago!!

I noted during the game that there was a very strong anti-Mancini undercurrent. Everything they shown was put in a negative light and the story you've just highlighted seems to fit the current agenda.

I say agenda, because that seems to be what it is. The media are currently ramping up their agenda against the club and specificially against Mancini. The stories regarding Monaco, who had no chance of getting Mancini but like most, put their bid in, have gone to show to me that there is a concerted effort to try and destabalise what we are trying to achieve.

This is how it starts, build us up by saying we should be winning every game we play, home or away, then throw in a few lines about Mancini showing a lack of respect to the players, like Milner in that story and Mario during the game.

To be honest, they must fucking hate us. I'm just hoping the club have a word with ESPN and the Mail. Both are as bad as the other.

It was very close and from that picture you'd have to say that they were unlucky. From the lino's PoV I can only think he couldn't see who was near enough playing him on.

Very close call and I wouldn't be happy if that went against us. However, the pic clearly shows that he's off. Who'd be a referee/lino, eh?

To be fair mate, and by the letter of the law, the lino made an exceptionally good decision.

I can see your point, Beefy. I'm not sure I agree 100%, but its a goal chalked off where we otherwise kept a clean sheet.

So, not as important as other decisions we've had in the past go against us.

They even themselves out over a season.

The lino wouldn't have been able to see Dzeko, in dark kit, as he was obscured by Nolan, so he had little choice but to give it unless he was to just guess that someone was playing him on, which would have been bent reffing, but one or two have done exactly that in the past, to our detriment.

I think we all know that's Bullshit, with a capital 'B'.

Like I say mate, I'd be unhappy with that decision.

When we went down, some of the decisions we endured were breath-takingly bad (the worst was in fact one of Webb's away at Wolves - a direct competitor for relegation - when he ruled that a striker had controlled the ball with his arm, when he never), but, conversely, when we stayed up, we 'scored a goal' at Blackburn, that Tevez in fact clearly blocked on the line.

Whereas I am skeptical about the way some of the more powerful coaches seem to get more than their fair share of added time, I do think that decisions generally do even themselves out over a season.

One week, they seem harshly against, the next the opposite.

Life goes on.

Firstly, ESPN are a fucking joke. They were so hell bent on turning everything they could against us, at one point they even said just before a corner for westham that the ref had to sort out a problem in the 6 yard box because "once again Balo was making some sort of trouble" when it was because Hart was being held on the line and the ref told them to part and behave. All the camera action of Bobby Manc waving his finger say things like he's going mad and how he looks like he's running out of ideas is simply more of their bollocks.
It was some of the most shocking crap from the pundits i've had to listen to.

As for the game I think it was one of our better ones, yes we failed in front of goal and should have made more of the few clear chances we had but we did play some very good football and we are moving the ball about much better than we have so far. I don't get all this panick just yet, we have had some bad injury's and the team isn't picking itself so to speak yet because of this. Im sure we are just a good win away from firing on all four, and its not going to be long until some one get a thrashed by us.
Let the media carry on with their crap, and let them believe that the scum are flying as we all know their shit at the back and have holes all over the place too.

I've noticed that certain clubs have had decisions go against them while their club is in a bit of strife. Portsmouth were dumped like a turd and Liverpool also got the same treatment while they were going through the Hicks/Gillette problems.

I'm sure there's nothing in it, at all.

I switched to foreign commentary so I didn't have to listen to Waddle. He was having a go at our players for going over too easily then saying that West ham were intelligently winning free kicks unless it was Yaya conceding them, who was classed as clumsy.

Once we got organised wasn't a bad display. West Ham defended for their lives, a hallmark of Allardyces teams.Wasn't as despondent about it as the queue for the tube, lol.Disappointments? Ya ya for me, zero energy or ambition. And perhaps Mancini's apparent failure to realise if dzeko starts he needs a rocket up his arse to motivate him.but I thought the possession football was crisp and on another occasion would have produced a win. And Kolo eventually justified his place.

Wouldnt have scored if we were still playing now. Awful in final third, bloody clueless.

Clichy and Nastasic played well, but Ya Ya, Balotelli, Dzeko, Tevez, Nasri and Aguero didnt do nearly enough at the business end of the field.

Yaya has looked absolutely dismal for us as of late. He's not out of shape or, to our knowledge, injured...so maybe he's tired or fed up. Either way, he looks poor and in a bad run of form.

We are a quarter way through the season and we still haven't hit top form. I wonder if it is ever going to come. At least we are only 3 points off the top. Hopefully, Silva's return will change things up
