Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

Fucking mirror today. I didn't buy the piece of shit but the back of it had the headline "special gone" which makes no sense for starters.

The first few lines of it then say "Manchester City embarrassingly crashed out of the champions league group stage for the second year in a row. This time they failed to win a single game."

By God that is serious bile. They've even forgot there is a game left.

Just watching it, it seems they are in a Liverpool love-in from the commentary - the analysis did not disappoint. Even the aftermatch interview asked AVB if they were lucky to get 3 points. From the highlights, Spurs were well worth the points.

And, Rogers comments. He's sounding like a broken record, just like Dogleash.

What a fantastic appellation; really like it and it ought to be his standard 'nom de guerre', for all City fans, from now on.

He really is. Can see it ending in tears again at the end of the season for the dippers

Not really comparative b utif Wigan would've beaten us they would have gone above the Dippers.

Food for thought, especially as we keep hearing so much about how good they and Saurez are.

12th, with half the points that we have, at the moment.

Fuck off piss-can, 'Could've finished them off earlier'! Then BFS gives the usual,'We'll take the positives'.

This old boys club will never change.

Martinez was positive after losing to us. Both underdogs done ok. I don't see the difference. (Unless I'm missing the point entirely)

I think MOTD has been fair today.

Think MotD is very good tonight, and has beenfor a few weeks. Actually, I think the media have calmed themselves down of late and can't really complain.

It was Taggart's comments that got to me, dismissing West Ham's efforts and BFS backed them up saying he was happy to keep them down to one.

Sounded too scripted for me.

Backslapping-gravy-train-nob-fest. It's a mould we've proven we can break the influence of in terms of proving it wrong, if not altering it's incessant trajectory. Not tonight's MotD necessarily, but the general media sway. If we carry on the way we're going, and the bouncy castle is eventually strewn with parcel wrappings and smeared in jelly and ice-cream, we may see a new media darling emerge. But I'd rather we keep on winning and the current set-up try and dismiss us ,as we just carry on shoving it in their faces.

I listened to the post-match phone-in on Radio Manchester/GMR. Fucking embarrassing hatchet-job on Roberto. Won't be listening again.

Constantly going on about both City and Mancini being lucky (Wigan were the better team, apparently). And having a pop at Balotelli. On a night when the rags won with a deflected goal.

Thanks.

Wigan the better team, eh. That's a good 'un. Was this the punters calling in or the pundits?

It was the pundits, mate. Eyre and Cheesman having a pop at Mario and Ray Mathias saying Wigan were the better team. But the real stump was the rag reporter setting the show's agenda. I don't know his name but he's a real bitter bastard.
