Hopefully he'll get game time and develop rather than becoming like SWP and never playing.

Might be selfish, but hopefully he won't.

Moses is a very good player. The only reason he might have off days is because he is surrounded by Wigan players every weekend ffs.

Don't mind Chelsea, doubt they'll challenge us this season. But would be a shame to see a talented player go to waste.

Moses to Chelsea deal has completed as well just as AJ signed for SAFC.

Chelsea are going to take some stopping.

Moses is a very good player and will fit well into the way they play.

Do not under estimate them

I personally think Chelski are more of a threat than the rags. Should not be underestimated.

Nah.

Unfortunately, the rags will be our rivals, not Chelsea.

Good, I don't know any Chelsea fans.

I've spent years hoping they'd go bump and just disappear. Last season I realised that I want them to keep finishing second. Basically be like Liverpool were to them, as they watch us catch their league titles and pass it. That's much more painful than anything we went through with relegation etc, as what goes down sometimes comes up. Almost being good enough is much worse - it's the hope that kills you

I don't know what is more absurd, Chelsea's stockpile of midfielders or Liverpool's...

I have this feeling you may be watching a full changeover of Chelsea's midfield in the next year.

Lampard, Essien, Mikel, Ramires, Meireles, Benayoun out, replaced by Oscar, Mata, Hazard, Moses, Marin, Romeu. Possibly Kakuta will stay on being he just signed a new contract I think. Mikel might stay on as well, but that would be a very young and talented midfield. And rather than being centralised around one player like they are now, it would be a more free flowing floating midfield...like ours...grrrrr. A formation that Torres might actually do well in.

I do remember that it was a toss up between AJ and Moses last time around, and we plumped for AJ. Funny then that they both
transfer on the same day.

Makes sense but Ive always thought Ramires was vital for them. Usually puts in a great shift.

Went through some old topics while back. Hindsight is wonderfull thing but I think we could've really used Moses.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

As long as Sané was still on the pitch we had him sorted. Clichy was shocking today.

Yeah but the point i'm trying to make is that if we'd bought him instead of Sinclair 2012 he'd be good player for us. Chelsea never knew how to handle him before now whereas Sinclair was just, well as I said at the rime, shite.

That's true. Not a great player, but could do a job for us. It would mean that we would need to play three at the back more often, though ;-)
