Fair do's....I'm amazed. As everyone at a certain level in the Mid East would normally have a driver...good on HRH for keepin it real

Apparently he drives himself so that he can pull up next to Khaldoon's Maserati and chat to the scouser in the passenger seat.

For the record, this is a meta-gag that I myself don't find remotely funny. At least nobody else can come out with it now. And someone would've done, sooner or later, trust me.

I think I may spend too much time on here.

Yes he must have a driver, actually a few of them but they are all for either families or just to move cars around, generally the local emiratis, including sheikhs (even the likes of crown prince of Abu dhabi, and ruler of Dubai) all like to drive themselves ... and are spotted often on roads or arriving or leaving from functions themselves in the driving seat.

It's a trend all over middle east not just UAE, comes from their love of horses and camels from the past, car is a status thing and not supposed to be given to drivers. You'd also find that even the poorest or middle class families who don't have have big houses would go out of the way to have a nice car first rather than upgrading their house thus you see shiny new cars outside some of the poorest old houses as well.

If I had a TV show called "That's so Vhero" I'd need to employ you as a scriptwriter.

Cheers

Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

It's where the term 'horsepower' originated.

What? The term horsepower comes from the power of horses? Next you will be telling me that the term Camel Toe has something to do with Camels'.....toes?
