10 major bits of silverware in 8 seasons and 9 goals in major finals, most of them winning ones plus all the other stuff Imagin if we ever had a player that won all that with us ... one day ;) ... yeah a legend no doubt.

If we were to lose one of our 4 strikers, I'd offer him a 2 year deal. No fear.

He'd be the ideal player to push our strikers when they act soft.

Would he be up for a bit part role at city tho?

Absolutely not.
Don't get me wrong, I've always been huge fan of his play (minus the diving of course) but we already have our share of characters and Drogba would never just settle for place on the bench. IF he did, he'd be perfect super-sub, but he will not. It could end in complete disaster within the squad.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Why would he necessarily be a supersub? Surely he is capable of holding down a regular spot on merit? If Tevez were to go he'd be my number 2 striker.

Dont think there's a player in the world who could score the goals he's scored and NOT be a legend.

8 years is a long time to be at a team nowadays too.

Hope he does well in China or wherever he ends up.

EDIT: Carlos Tevez? If he scored the equaliser and winning pen in a CL final.... would that make him a City legend?

Drogba is a beast must be an absolute nightmare to mark with his physical strength and his knack of feigning injury and fooling the officials. If you put all the antics to one side he has been an incredicle player.

Echo whats been said here, hes an abs monster and imo better than shearer.

With regards signing him, i dont want him, he said he wouldnt play for anyone else in england besides chelsea and hes at his best when the main man in the team which he wouldnt be here. No doubting his ability though, hes actually one of my fave non-city players.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worth every penny Chelsea paid for him, and turned up on the big occasion just about every time.

Scored in Cup Finals, semi-finals, and helped Chelsea carry off multiple trophies including the biggest ones of all in Champions League and League Titles.

As a football fan you respect his achievements, if you're a Chelsea fan he will forever be a legend of your club. His epitaph will be Big Game Player, enough said.

Up there with Henry in terms of the best strikers to of played in the PL. He's a big game player as well. 9 goals in 9 finals isn't it?
Would definitely have him on a 1 year contract.

I think his desire to win for chelsea made a huge difference in those last few games. he wanted revenge on barcelona for the injustice a few years back, and he didnt care how that revenge was taken, as long as they got it. You need hard nosed bastardds like that in a team. yeh he dives, but they all do now, some better than others. its up to the authorities to correctly and consistently penalise it, which they arent doing. Fair play to him chelsea got full value there...

ps. I think his level of performance would dip if he played for another prem club so I wouldnt sign him. Just my opinion
