As their fist game is on the 20th he bloody should be! But don't players always leave a bit early before these tournaments so don't think he'll be with us

Strabgely theres been no word from the club on this but I can only assume hes gone already. If hes available for Saturday it would assist greatly, given our previous struggles at Everton.

From previous years l think players are due to report 10 days before they start. Therefore Yaya is unlikely to be available unless we have agreed for him to turn up late.

squad deadlines were 5th January apart from players with dispensation to arrive later, these are usually the players from the main leagues in europe. With Ivory Coast not playing until 20th Jan, I think we have a fighting chance but I doubt he will make the Everton game on the 10th unless we have a private jet waiting to take him Bony and Kolo on saturday night as we all play on Saturday?

There will be massive black cock spanking happening while we struggle vs Everton. Important stuff not to miss...if you like massive black cock spanking.

Cheers

Taken from the MEN article this morning..........

the 26-year-old Ivory Coast international (referring to Bony), who is currently in Abu Dhabi – along with Yaya Toure - preparing for his country’s campaign in the African Nations Cup.

Bit of a bugger as i thought Everton game was his last too.

Still perhaps YaYa can swing by the Shekh's pad and introduce Bony :-)

i would've liked it if Yaya had done what Schlupp had done and played last weekend…

but whatever. im still rooting for Ivory Coast to lose every match

Every match in CIV's group has been a draw.
If only they had lost today

They are up against a decent side in Cameroon in their final match, and if they lose, likely go out of the competition

Fingers crossed.
what a shit competition. I see why baconchops rarely entertained players from africa due to this silly comp.

You get someone good and they leave when you most need them.

Well it's an older competition than the European Championships and you can hardly expect them to hold a competition in Africa in summer. That'd be like holding the world cup in the Middle East in June, which is clearly such a ridiculous idea, no one would suggest it.

If they lose they're definitely out. If they win they definitely go through. Strangely enough if both remaining games are drawn 1-1 they will "draw lots" to see who goes through!

I assume you're getting that from Wikipedia - the page is quite badly laid-out, and nobody is going through yet, because there's still another round of matches to play.

Alphabetical order for the table at the moment, as it was for us and Chelsea after new year's day.

Why not? It is being held in central Africa this year and so it would make no difference whether it was summer or winter staged.
Furthermore as the equator and both tropics of Cancer and Capricorn cross through Africa, again it would not matter. At this time the sun is directly over a part of Southern Africa making it their summer time but the tournament has been held in the Southern Hemisphere on many occasions and certainly does not exclude a country like South Africa from hosting it.
