He's guaranteed a booking every game now, I don't know if it's a change in tactics where we get to the striker quickly, but he's done it every game so far and picked up a booking. Watching him and Yaya get turned by Mata on the by-line was worrying. I don't know what's happened to him in the last few months, but he's the weaker of the 2 centre backs at the minute IMO.

Is that it ? he has been utter wank for a while now and needs to sit on the bench and be given a rollicking for his inept performances this year...he cannot pass more than 10 yards to a City player and seems to have no studs on his boots.

I blame Mancini today..never subbed Yaya or Milner even though it was obvious to a blind man they were utter wank.

IMO - he is shite at making subs.

Think he's played so-and-so this season and is not a genuine starter. To be honest, I'd say he's been gash.

His fondness for barging over opposition players has become a common trait. Must be tired, but because we have no depth defensively he plays. We need someone as good, or better, and soon.

Like the rest of the squad, he needs competition for his place and at the moment there is no competition to push him onwards. Providing competition for the central defenders (serious competition, I mean, rather than Savic and Kolo, neither of whom are good enough) is the area which needs addressing most in January.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

Maybe they are having problems after they were the best defence in the league last year. We failed to keep a clean sheet in the last 7 games in Premier. Vinnie, Lesco and even Joe had problems this year.

And to be fair, we needed Micah.

You can't say shit like that, he's the future don't you know. He just needs to sort his game out.

Fuckin ell! Every player goes through a bad patch. I agree he's been wank tonight. Just like most of the team. Silva has had bad games as well. The fact is he's our captain and a bit of sticking by him won't do him any harm.

fact is that he needs to step his game up. simple as. his poor decision making (pumping the ball long) after 20 odd mins changed the whole pattern of the game. not good enough from our captain. he can do much much better.

I guess I'm just pissed off that he's shown such a high standard over last season and feel the need to defend him. But I suppose as you say he's been poor most of this season.
I don't know whether the captains armband has given him more pressure than he needed. He looked a ready made captain to be honest.

There's something wrong though I suppose. He's always looked so composed on the ball and waiting for the right pass. But most games this season his passing has been really poor and sometimes he often reverts in to using Dunnie's 'roof it!'.

flog him to Milan. Fuck it. January loan with the potential to buy if we're getting lucky.

I'm sure KJ would get a better deal.

I know this is his 4th season but he played the first 2 at holding midfield.

Its like he's having his difficult second season...

I was laughing last week when the manure fans were calling for fergie's head after their CL exit. We lose our first game in the PL & the so called supporters are baying for blood. We were never going to go through the season unbeaten, it's just important that we get back on track on Sunday and go on another unbeaten run. Our loyal supporters demanding some of the players (who were gods a couple of weeks ago) are sold & replaced is a joke. Put it down to experience and move on!
