May, from Oldham, joined the Reds from Blackburn in 1994. He was part of the Reds squad that won the treble in 1999. [highlight]He was a City fan[/highlight]and as a youngster had trials with the Blues before joining Blackburn.

Did the tevez poster invite a load of fans out to get leathered, whilst letting the opposing load of fans know about it, some of which will also likely attend leathered. Take your point on the light hearted digs at each other, but this is very likely to end it fighting

Yep i totally agree with that. Some people want to take intense rivalry out of football. The indignant fury of the Arsenal fans after Ade's knee slide last year was ludicrous, as was the Everton fans reporting Barton and Fowler to the police, as was the Liverpool fans reporting Ratboy Chuckle to the police.
