After 30 odd years I dont give a stuff, nor are we in a position to be picky about which one either. Where's the "either one, I dont care so long as we win one" option!!??

Europa cup.

This is the last chance we have to win it, (hopefully) from now on its champions league all the way. Plenty of time to win the FA cup.

FA Cup without a shadow of doubt.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Europa League for me. It's a far more prestigious competition when viewed from the continent, which is what we need to do to inverse our worldwide clout. Nit many teams win a Euro competition. We'll then be in the Super cup in Monaco next season also.

I also think we're more likely to win Europa over FA due to the two legged format. Hopefully over two legs our class will out, as long as Mancini starts playing the first team. In fact I'd settle for 4th and Europa glory over a good shot at the league.

Some excellent teams left in the competition but the way we can eek out a nil nil virtually anywhere should stand us in good stead. I think Mancini will also be aware that the only gap on his CV is European success, the reason he was sacked from Inter.

I very much have to disagree with that. FA Cup is oldest football competition and certainly seen as more prestigious among proper football supporters around the world.

Oooh tough one. I'm an old football romantic too and would love to win the F A Cup but the lure of Dublin for two or three days is strong.
So all things considered it's the Europa for me.

There's no doubting the history if the FA cup, but the Europa can be a launchpad into the Champions League. Remember Valencia winning it and then going on to do well in the CL? hopefully we could do something similar, it really could announce us into the Euro elite.

Pompey won the FA cup a couple of years back and that didn't do much for them.

Having said all that nothing would beat a winning day out at Wembley!

I voted for the Europa League as that would heighten our profile in Europe, with access to the Super Cup and a chance to test ourselves against one of the true elite - does winning this then give access to the World Club Championship?

I know the sum total of all 3 do not add up to the romance and prestige in our own country of winning the FA Cup, but I think in the bigger picture the Europa just shades it because of the doors it will open.

Most importantly, winning the Europa League along with a good showing in our domestic league will raise our Uefa Co-Efficient giving the possibility for us to be seeded for the CL group stages sooner. I dont think the FA Cup impacts too much on the co-efficient.

I'm feeling optimistic and thinking we will be finishing top-four in the Prem regularly from now on, so I think this could be our only chance for a LONG time to win the Europa League. Since you want me to choose just one for this season, I have to make a tactical decision and go for the Europa League.

I'd be happy winning both (it's nice to be greedy) but, since it's a choice, I voted for the Europa.

This would also fit in with our owner's vision of raising City's world-wide profile which would then have a knock-on effect for Abu Dhabi's global profile.

It also wouldn't do any harm in our aim to eventually attract the Lionel Messi type players, of this world, to our Club.

FA Cup

The most prestigious domestic Cup in the world.

Uefa Cup is basically a cup for the also rans, like the Johnson Paint trophy or whatever it is called these days. I would take it as an alternative to nothing but not as an alternative to the FA Cup.
