For me he was brilliant. Flick ons, holding the ball up, a few good runs and also didn't look slow which is supposedly his biggest flaw.
I'm giving him a 9. The only thing he lacked was a goal.

I give him an 8.
If you factor in that he's not really match fit .......... maybe a 9 is right.

Brilliant. Someone gave him TEN OUT OF TEN.
Normally reserved for the perfect hatrick, but hey ho, great to know we have some real generous fuckers on here. I hope to meet whoever that was in the Townley some day... so I can have a few free drinks just for being me.
Oh and a blow job too.

Very promising 7.5 for me, maybe an 8. He'll have much better games than that, but I still thought he was very good. He's got everything. Very happy. He could teach Jo a thing or two about how to be 6'3 and actually use your strength to an advantage.

Great debut a goal would have reallt topped it off.
Gives the impression that hes a real team player. He was strong on the ball some good close control at times when he had numbers around him.Seems to be very aware of team mates around him and passed the nicely.Looks like he will fit in very well.
I think himself and Carlos could form the best strike force in the league with Silva a little deeper providing the support for them.

I heard on the fantasy football stats that he didnt set yaya up and he didnt even play atall.
He had a slow start but the whole team did. Think some fans in 110 were saying he isnt doing the work like tevez but as far as im concerned thats not what we got him for. We got him as a big front man. He did that job well enough. Looked strong, good awareness and positioning but not too quick. He could of been through i think twice in the first half if tevez had looked up.
All in all i think a good debut and will be on the score sheet against villa.
8/10

Don't you just love excited City fans:)
Very promising and as i thought after watching him in training he is far more than a target man ,header of goals. But somehow if he gets 9 out of ten for today there will be games where the scale isnt big enough.Very good debut though.

Gone for 7. Quiet first half (but not poor by any means), great second = an average of 7; had he scored it would have been a 9.

Outstanding debut! We got a real player with this lad. Him and Tevez already look like they're linking up well, as the 3rd goal showed. They're gonna be lethal when they fully click. He showed some real moments of world class as well.
