Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Football decisions are still very subjective and until the governing bodies accept technology has a part to play that's the way they will be. I do not for one moment believe that any professional ref or official has it in for city, they call it as they see it, right or wrong and that's called football, the same problem has been recurring since the game started. Sometimes it goes for us, sometimes it doesn't.

Refs calls bad or good are no fuckling excuse for not destroying a team like wolves at home.... Fact

Hmmm... you make it sound very 50/50.

Yet here we are, the dirtiest team in the entire league.

YEAH. FUCKING.RIGHT.

Well I think it is an excuse..........not a totally overwhelming excuse..but an excuse nonetheless.

Correct.

It's no coincidence that fans of EVERY club believe the officials have it in for them.
Laughable though it might be, even rags do.

He was a twat and gave them everything. Also some very close offsides against Dzeko.
But from the stands it looked a penalty and a goal.

Can't believe people are complaining about the 3rd Wolves goal.

Lescott vs Villa? Behave, we won and are top of the League.

Yes, the refs had a poor game and most close calls went to Wolves. However, they were not as poor as our defending today and as such should not be the focus of the whining. I even think that in the closing minutes we were awarded a couple of soft free kicks and hence were able to release some pressure. They were certainly not out to get us or fuck us over intentionally, they were just poor!

The only really important decision they may have gotten wrong was the goal to make it 4-3. I'm not sure it was over the line, but then some people on here are pretty confident it was. Close call for sure.

I guess the only way to know is if there was a replay from a camera on the same line with the post, only from there we could clearly see if the whole ball has crossed the line or not. From that video, I'm still very, very dubious that it has.

Whether it was over the line or not, Lescott's header against Villa the other week probably wasn't over the line so perhaps that's the universe attempting to balance itself!?!?!

I'll have to see it on Andy Gray's magic missile technology to be 100% sure, but anyone claiming they know for a fact that it fully crossed the line is chancing their fucking arm, no diggidy no doubt.

That's kind of what I was getting at. From that vid, first couple of angles it looks like it didn't cross the line, third angle looks like it does. Debatable. We got the decision against Villa for a very similar situation and I was cheering that like mad in the stands so no complaints from me here.

In the zonal system we use Lescott isn't a marker of a player.More urgent work is needed on our zonal defending.

I'm usually not one to blame the ref, but today they were woeful. We didn't get any calls our way - especially in the first half, he passed the ball to Wolves twice, and I really wonder how he or the linesman could make the call for the goal. Above that the 5 additional minutes were laughable.

Their performances from start to finish were a disgrace and, as most others have said, 5 MINUTES? Seriously how?

Why don't they have TV cameras on the goal line? Seems like it's an obvious thing to do.
