Sorry mate I have to disagree. Our defending in the air has been dreadful for some time. Just look at the Leicester game absolutely shocking defensively. We can't go on like this or we'll start losing matches. Everyone who plays us will be targeting our weakness. I don't think Kolo is good enough in the air and as for Lescott we'll have to agree to disagree. I simply don't see what Hughes saw in him.

Just got back...jesus we dont make it easy. Those 20 minutes after ht were awesome.
As for Dzeko, looks absolutely quality. Thought he was just going to be a big target man but really impressed with his touch and technique.
And if Carlos played like that because his kids were there we need to move them over ASAP!!!

I am off for a sleep...I dont think I have ever done the Poznan so much in my life, great effort all but knackering!!!

THIS GAME HAD EVERYTHING.

seven goals, two comebacks, contentious decisions, four times the ref touched the ball or got in a players way, two classy goals, two scrappy goals, a goal that never was, a penalty, a brilliant debut from Dzeko and a City win.

I am knackered.

Yep looking forward to seeing the highlights, fantastic game for MOTD (although I am sure we'll get 30 seconds if they are not running over at the end).

That was an amazing goal scored by Tevez. It would have been a lot easier had he passed it to Dzeko. He's just so used to being the man he thinks he needs to do it on his own. It's not the case anymore. He'll get there.

A really enjoyable second half. Lescotts penalty reminded me of Didi Hamman sticking out his bum and drawing the foul. No way was their third goal over the line.

My initial reaction was the ball was over the line and we had gotten away with it.
My joy was shortlived, though.
I'd be surprised if replays proved it hadn't crossed the line, though
