Completely cheered me up this morning thinking about how this fella might spur us on further and take some of the pressure off Tevez, hopefully giving Tevez more freedom / room to knock 'em in for fun. Hope they will play together for the Wolves game.
Now if we could only shift that twat Jo, put the whole RSC saga behind us (grates on me continuously this one) and rid ourselves of the biggest wart on the club a certain Adebayor, this will be a cracking window.

He speaks very good English
Just watched his 2009 goals, and it seems he can score from anywhere, but is particularly effective with his napper, having said that it looked like the defences he was up against were dreadful on the whole.
Be interesting now to see how he fits in

Interview is up on the OS now. Pretty much the same quotes as the story from last night.

Hope he doesn't end up being anything like Bendtner, just wasted so many chances against Leeds.

That's a bit like saying someone speaks English, American, Australian and Canadian.

Welcome to the club son.
I'm in for a real surprise with Eden as I've never seen him play, not even youtube clips. All I've seen of him is a well taken headed goal which was being shown today continuously on Sky News (well we know we need more of those).
So I'll be watching him against Wolves with high interest to see what he is capable of.

Dzeko looks as though he ought to be the ultimate centre forward and if he settles in quickly and, as many of us surmise, Tevez will be gone in the summer, it'll be interesting to see if Bobby Manc will then bring anyone else in, or whether he'll go with a SuperMario-Dzeko combination, backed up by Guidetti and Nimely.
If that were the case, Dzeko could take a lot of the weight off our youngsters coming in and make it far easier for them than being drafted in to spearhead the attack alongside Tevez, as it would have been prior to now.

Tevez will stay.
Just a gut feeling.
After all what professional footballer worth his salt would want to jump ship now of all times.
You signed here to win stuff, why leave now when you are on the cusp of achieving it.

Fair comment Blue Blood......hope with all my heart that you're right in what you say.
If Tevez does stay, our attacking options are going to be mouth watering.

The Dzeko deal was probably part of Bobbys persuasion that helped Tevez change his mind.

That was my take on it all at the time.. it was about the investment in other strikers. As a consequence of believing that, i also agree with Blue Blood that he will stay. ( there are various subplots to it all as well - but they are not worth going into ).
