It was about this time of year that our season imploded under Sven. I'm hoping history won't repeat.

When I get a bad feeling about fixtures, things normally work out better than expected. Similarly, when I have a good feeling, Tim Cahill scores after 4 minutes.

as it is at the moment, i think we will win both away games and struggle at the home games as we are playing a lot better away

There wont be too many tougher games at home all season that Everton. So i remain confident and that we will learn from it. Away from home we tend to actually have an advantage and while there will be fucl ups like the Stoke game we dont have much to fear.

losing last night lost us momentum and hopefully it will remain as a sharp pain for the players in the games ahead. The perfect reply to that would be to go and beat Arsenal in a couple of weeks and that is what we need to do now.
I believe we can win every game if the players play close to their maximum and we pick up the pace at home.

And here's me wondering why you wanted to make a comparison between Boxing day games and the events of the pre -season
games in NYC and NJ !!!! Of course silly me forgot that you didn't write NY,NY !
