Help Re: Match Tickets

Postby xavi6 » Tue Dec 14, 2010 2:45 pm

Hi folks,

Just looking for some info regarding match tickets.

I fly home to Ireland for the festive period next week and have booked in an overnight trip with two mates for the City/Villa game on Dec 28th (first time at COMS since Mar 2006!).

A lad I know says he can sort us tickets but so far hasn't delivered. Obviously I don't want to be left high and dry so I went to the OS and registered and I can buy three tickets together. The problem is if my mate does deliver then we have six tickets for three of us.

So basically just wondering how late is too late to leave it to get tickets? Are they all likely to go with it being the holidays? I'd be gutted not to see the game if the worst happened.

Any advice much appreciated.

The match is selling a lot faster than any of our other matches (Everton or Blackpool) at the moment if you look at the OS.
I'd make sure to get a ticket just to make sure to not miss out.

And get into Townley before the match mate! I'll be over for Villa too so would be fun to see you again

Sorry I missed you on Facebook last night, had just gone to bed!

Yeah I'm gonna give it another 24 hours then just buy them. Is the Townley beside COMS? We're staying beside the Arndale Centre and planning a big night out anyway. Flight lands in Manchester at 7am that morning so I'll be around all day.

Would be great to catch up over a pint, definitely.

xavi - if you want 3 together I would do it right now mate. I know the OS ticket plan can lie, but I reckon there's bugger-all left. Wouldn't it have been easier just to buy them off the OS in the first place? I'm sure you're mate can get rid of 3 tickets for a sell-out.

Looks like they're sorted. Phew!

So I'll be about the Townley (if I can find it!) on Dec 28th.

I've been recommended a couple of clubs so want to check them out as well but will start in the Townley if possible anyway.
