Absolute pish match but the way we played against them at home we can't criticise anybody for not going for it

I don't think it was even the rags' idea. Some company or other was behind it I believe.

It was down solely to Bobby Charlton, as a former miner himself.
Personally don't think there is anything wrong with it, if it was us that did it then everyone would be saying how wonderful our club is, because it's the rags its another shit low dig at them.

I'm sure I speak for us all when I say; I'm dreadfully sorry if any criticism either actual or implied of the rags has upset you. I'll certainly try to be more careful from now on, in fact I'm sure we al will.

It was all old Bobby's idea. Fuck all to do with the Chillien sponsors giving him a ring 1st. No they didn't think of it at all. If it wasn't for Sir Bob, the idea would never have crossed their minds.

So like me and BT said a massive world wide PR stunt the rags really scrape the barrel when trying to milk human suffering to fill up the coffers.

They sent him over there to milk it 1st apparently. Then filmed a spontaneous invite which of course came straight from Sir Bob's own kind heart, what with his old man being a miner & all. He was in the Munich air crash as well you know, so naturally, he wanted to go over there & invite those miners. He would have no doubt paid for it himself, he's known for not being a tight fisted old cunt, but luckily he didn't have to. Bet he had a little tear in his eye.
