Where's the Townley equivalent in Turin?

Postby Dronny » Mon Dec 13, 2010 7:51 pm

Catching the 8am flight landing at 10:45 local time and staying in the Hotel Diplomatic, Via Cernaia 42, Turin 10122.

Hope the hotel bit means more to you than me but apparently its fairly central....so as Delia famously requested "letsbeavenyou"............where are we going to meet?

Good choice!
We´ve been there when we (Werder) played Juventus years ago in CL.
Nice and not so nervous staff who could handle a football crowd in there. Inside plenty of room with also an extra room/Bar for the ones of you who couldn´t live without having a fag.
When you left the Puorta Nouva station, it is 100-150m to the right on the main road....
Enjoy your trip!

see you there! I like the sound of an ex pat owner.

Do you think the police will make an effort to keep us around the square near the station? I'm just asking as that's where our thomas crook coach is dropping off at 10am and picking up at 5pm.
lets wish for good days but not forget the bad days

We may need to find a hotel with a decent sized bar area on thursday as i think pubs and bars are shut on match days in Turin but i dont know if all the pubs will comply with this. Maybe one of our Italian posters can confirm this.
