I've hardly checked the internet for footy news at all the last week, and am surprised to see his name mentioned in a "training ground bust-up" story.
Aston Villa defender Richard Dunne is reported to have had a fall-out with manager Gerard Houllier and assistant boss Gary McAllister during training.
The former Manchester City and Everton centre-half is believed to have launched a tirade laden with explicit language against the Frenchman and his assistant, owing to the club's underwhelming season to date.
The Villans finished in the top six in the last three seasons under former boss Martin O'Neill, who left the club after a disagreement with owner Randy Lerner just prior to the start of the season.
The ex-Lyon and Liverpool coach was brought in after the departure of the Ulsterman, who was a favourite at Villa Park.
And the recent results coupled with some controversial statements in the media have done Houllier no good, as his side currently sit in 14th place with 20 points - only four more than 18th placed Wigan Athletic.
Now The News of the World has claimed that Dunne verbally tore into McAllister with words which are thought to have left the 45-year-old stunned.
It has also been reported that Dunne has the full backing of his fellow players over his behaviour with the bosses.

I hope we slap a £60,000,000 price tag on his head and if no one meets it lets see if he has the balls to actually quit.
Call the little pricks bluff and see what a big man he is when he isnt being payed for the next 3.5 years.
Do easy jet do flights to argentina?? Wonder what his missus will say when she isnt getting half his wages aswell.
