As always a pleasure to read your report. Nice to hear that MJ is not too far from full fitness.

In your view is it likely that Lescott will be LB v W Ham or is Bridge sharp enough to play?

Yikes! I hope that's not the choice.

What about Zabba on the left?

That's the one. I can see Lescott on the left of Vince with Micah and Zab covering right and left respectively.

If Kolo isnt fit enough I would say a back 4 of Micah,Boateng,Vinnie and Zaba. Altho I think Lescott could do the centre back job my gut feel is that Mancini might prefer Boateng.

That was a superb read Douglas. Even your little Sky Blue Duvet thought so...must be good...or is he being nice to you for santa's sake?
Cheers mate.

I'd be a little worried about Micah and Jerome being in together due to them not having played together or regularly in those spots. However, that's the position we got Jerome for and he does need the opportunity to show; I did think he was still not fully fit though?

Dont forget peeps Boateng played LB for Germany fairly well right through the world cup.

Lescott looked OK to me against Bolton. If we need to rest Touré he is the man. Winnable game, percentage, solid player. Leave the spectacular to someone else.

Agree with someone saying MJ needs to go out on loan. Normally a loan is a sign that players aren't up to it and will be shipped out, but in this case we need to see whether his body will stand up to competitive matches, or whether injuries in one place lead to secondary problems elsewhere, a la Hargreaves (and many others through the years).

Hope you don't mind me posting this here Doug, it seems that we continue to ruin football in the North-West; and may explain where the lad's have been.
