Training Tuesday 7/12

Postby Douglas Higginbottom » Tue Dec 07, 2010 12:10 pm

There wasn't any! Sunday was the day after a match so nothing,Monday was a day off for them all and today was virtually nothing even though most of them were in for a time. The only thing done outside was a bleep test thing in small groups of 3 or 4.They kept stopping after a minute or 2 for what like a quick blood test.It wasn't designed to stretch them much although in the one I watched 2 out of the 4 really struggled to keep up.The only 1 I know asnt there was Mario as he was stuck in Italy with the airport closed.

Surely in the long term that jet lag can't be good for his fitness?

No doubt we'll still get accused of working them twice a day every day by the gentlemen of the media.

I don't think you will see much training this month Douglas what with the coldness and the amount of games. Training will be mostly tactical and recuperations i reckon.
