West Ham are a team capable of going on a run. They're only 10 points behind Newcastle (8th) at the moment. The relegation fight is going to be interesting because there are no outstanding candidates for securing bottom, unlike many other years.
The point was that if West Ham go down and don't get immediately promoted, they may have a new stadium the following season.
