That was what I meant.

We'll be down for a season or so. And then apparently get relocated to a redundant athletics stadium.

Future's so bright, I am reaching for the raybans as I type.

Beat us in 2nd gear.

Minor gripe that one or two of your players play with their arms permanently raised for the ref's whistle, but, in every single department, Silva aside, you were taller, stonger, more capable and more hungry.

Which separates the teams into title contenders and those totally and utterly nailed on for relegation (as I have said since the beginning of this season).

Nice to see Yaya earn his wages. Great first strike.

That genuinely may be the last time you ever visit The Boleyn Ground.

Onwards and upwards, eh? Good luck to ya.

No, even if you go down this year you'll be back - keep the faith.

West Ham are a team capable of going on a run. They're only 10 points behind Newcastle (8th) at the moment. The relegation fight is going to be interesting because there are no outstanding candidates for securing bottom, unlike many other years.

The point was that if West Ham go down and don't get immediately promoted, they may have a new stadium the following season.

You sound totally and utterly dejected mate. Every City fan who is older than 10 knows how that feels, trust me.

All's I can say is, if you get rid of the Baron Silus Geenback you may stand a chance, if you keep him then I'm afraid you're going to go the same way as Pompey, without the cup run.

West Ham's current plight reminds me of our time under Alan Ball ... sadly for Hammers everywhere

Well done be being gracious in defeat pal, unfortunately your boys look nailed on for the drop as your squad looks clueless in what to do.your quite corect when you say City didnt get out of second gear the whole game. You gave it a reasonable go for a spell of about 10 minutes but that isnt enough to help you stay up.

Good luck going forward, its not all that bad moving into a redundant athletics track i know a team that did it once.
