A Bolton fans view of today...

Postby bluej » Sat Dec 04, 2010 8:41 pm

Somewhere else I post, a Bolton fan seems to take a different view of the game today..

you know when you're a big team when your players roll around crying foul... Like Ballotelli. What a girl!

I also dont see the game as one sided as you have described. We had good possession of the ball at times too. I agree, Mariner was poor. The way Citeh were time wasting after 55 minutes deserved 10 minutes added on. We probably also played about a minute of the 4 added on as for the rest of it Ballotelli again was pissing about.

I wouldn't be too impressed if BWFC had spent such an obscene amount of money and that is it. Defensive to the hilt and 4 counter attacks. It'll look good for Citeh on MOTD as their attacks will be shown, it's the filler for the rest of the game that doesn't get shown which is zzzzzzzz oh, sorry. as i was saying. Well done on the 1-0 win.

To be honest, who gives a shit what anyone else see's or thinks. The table at the end of the season will say enough and im sure we will be looked at in a very different light at the start of next season because of it.

I have often wondered why Bolton get such shit crowds.

After what I saw today I am amazed that anybody pays money to watch them! What a bunch of cloggers.

Jeez, doesn't the daft lad realise his team could've been humiliated Blachburn style. You have to ask questions about the drinking water.

They weren't much last night but I've been hugely impressed with them this season. Granted I've only seen about four of their games, but in the ones I've caught they were really entertaining.

That fan is a complete fucktard btw. A goal incorrectly disallowed, one off the post, one of the bar, Zab and Tevez both missing clear cut opportunities. Barely worth stooping to argue with.

fuckin hell we were class yesterday that is it. we have been good since fulham despite the stoke result. we are starting to gel there is no doubt it could have been 5 or 6 yesterday. they had a few decent chances don't get me wrong. it was pretty one sided but they played their part for sure.

Although I wasn't able to see the game myself:

Sounds like it's probably more a case of us forcing them to try long balls out of despair (which is a complement to us really) - MoTD 'goal of the month' competition showed a Bolton goal which is more typical of how they've been playing this season, four or five quick ground passes around the box creating a relatively straight forward chance

i thought it was a cracking game and congratulate bolton for having a go. they were utterly outclassed though and were ripped to bits in a bizarre game with 1 goal when 8 would have been a fair reflection. 7-1 and they could not have complained.

That backs up Sky Sports take on it as well.

To be fair, our own match centre has it as 7-2.
