Righto Roberto lad ........

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Righto Roberto lad ........

Since I had a pop at you and led the beginning of a rebellion after the Birmingham game, you've made me look a reet twat.
All of this expansive, attacking football is just to force me to eat mi hat innit?

Haha excellent.

Everything was spot on today, I'm looking forward to that first choice 11 playing again (whenever that is).

i applaud the intent. that it was not 6-1 is beyond my limited intellect.

keep playing like that and we'll go close. at tim,e irresistable, just a post or bar or another foot or so and we would have wiped the floor with a decent opponent. 19 shots, 9 on target. 1-0. go figure.
After the ball was centred, after the whistle blew...

It's all clicking now it seems.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Certainly seems on the right track.

It's not like those on Mancini's back were wrong. We had some dire performances but after the last 4 I think we can all see it moving in the right direction. I wonder would this thread exist if Bolton had managed to nick one at the death.

It is indeed. :-)

But to be fair, I sense a definite change of intent on Mancini's part since the jeers of underwhelment after the Brum game.

It would actually Slim.
It wasn't the results that were getting me down, it was the performances and the style thereof. Couldn't argue the attacking intent today was terrific, whatever the final score had been.

Agree, hats off to Bob, loads of players getting forward, great football. I'd like to think people would still be praising that performance even if we'd lost because that's how City should be playing against those kind of teams.

Great stuff Bob, keep it up.

Balotelli on that form is Rodney Marsh without the humour. Wonderful.

Well done also to Bolton for making a game of it rather than shutting up shop from the off.

Whilst I find your sentiment applaudable..The fickle nature of fandom within this forum denotes that if we lose next week the probability of the OP starting a Mancini Out thread is just as likely ;-)

Here, bake yer hat in a low oven for 45 and then eat with a cheesy dip.. you'll find it almost a bit too enjoyable.. so go easy!
respect for the post by the way.

It is still early days, of that i would say there is no doubt, but it is interesting that Bob started fixing the defence, then moved on the to DM and the midfield, then recently to the attack and now just needs that little bit of that 'sauce relax' sprinkling on the finishing and jobs a good un'

I think i know who we are probably going to tonk.. and it is in a few weeks time!

I would hazard a guess that we werent far off today

hart
zab, kompany, kolo, kolorov
barry, de jong, yaya, silva
tevez, mario

maybe zab is the only player who may move out, but he's close to a fully fit squad and i cant see anyone getting in there

This was always going to be the way we played but everything was delayed because of Super Mario's injury, amongst others, and the fact that Adebayor fell out with the manager. Lovin the way we are playing now though, a lot more expressive.

Some of the football we played today was sublime.

We aren't the finished article yet but the signs are very promising.

Haha...Good post Kladze.
The football we played today was top draw..It had my spine tingling at times. The lads and Mancini are getting it right now.
2 back to back wins in 3 days with a largely changed team from Wed says it all about our strength as a squad.
What a week for the blues ;-)

Having two attacking full backs is really helping the team at the moment. We're going to miss Kolarov as he has added a lot to the team.
